I joined the online course for the A1 level of German language. It proved to be a very good idea! Also the teacher was very keen about students' progress and provided personal attention to everyone. I actually loved learning a foreign language and intend to join the online course for the next level too.
It is not only convenient but also cost wise very reasonable.
I joined the Marathi language online course from Japan in 2023. I was a complete novice student and I only knew 'namaskar' when I joined the course. Thanks to the Marathi course and two wonderful professors, I was able to learn the writing system and basic Marathi conversation (ordering food/clothes, introducing myself to others, talking about family, describing pictures, etc.) in the course of 8 months!!! The professors guided us very well, and the textbook/workbook/other audio resources were very informative but not too difficult for a beginner like me. I seriously learned so much from this course. I highly recommend anyone take this course if you want to learn the Marathi language!
A practical and fun course, designed to keep working individuals motivated and growing. I had not learnt a new language for 24 years, although I had tried apps like Duolingo. The myMarathi system (instructors, textbook, exercises, app) made it easy for me to become a student of language again. I am eagerly looking forward to Level 2.

Communicative Certificate in Marathi
German Department, Mumbai University
Born and raised in Maharashtra, I studied Marathi from Class III to Class VII, but never felt fully comfortable with it due to limited practice. Fortunately, I found the Communicative Marathi class by the German department. It offers a well-planned syllabus, comprehensive textbook, dedicated teachers, assessments, and ample speaking practice. The course is a holistic learning experience, and I highly recommend it for anyone aiming to improve their spoken Marathi.
I was lucky enough to be a part of German department since the time online classes in German started last year. I have done my Advanced B1 level course in online mode which started in June 2020. In the beginning,I was little apprehensive about the online course. But now after 8 months I am confident to say that they teach German in details, more than that of Goethe Institute. In online classes, the university taught us lots of grammar as well as a little of literature which I have not done earlier in physical classes else where. It is also very pocket friendly. I would definitely like to undertake more such courses for B2 level and more.
