Business Listings

Business listings on Mumbai Directory are provided for informational purposes only. We strive to ensure accuracy but do not guarantee the completeness or reliability of any listing. Business information is gathered from public sources (including Google Places), user submissions, and third-party services.

Paid Listings & Payments

Mumbai Directory offers paid listing plans (General Listing at ₹499 one-time and Featured Listing at ₹10,000 per year). All payments are processed through Cashfree, a third-party payment gateway. By purchasing a listing, you agree to:

  • Pay the full amount as specified at the time of purchase
  • Provide accurate business and payment information
  • Understand that listing fees are non-refundable except in cases of duplicate charges or payment errors
  • Renew Featured listings annually to maintain Featured status; failure to renew will revert the listing to a General Listing

Account Registration & Termination

You may be required to create an account to submit business listings, claim businesses, manage your dashboard, or post reviews. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent, abusive, or unlawful activity.

User Reviews & Content

Users may submit reviews, ratings, and other content. By submitting content, you grant Mumbai Directory a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display and distribute your content on the website. You agree that:

  • Your reviews must be based on genuine experiences and not be false, misleading, or malicious
  • You will not submit spam, promotional, or defamatory content
  • We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms at our sole discretion

Claiming a Business

Business owners may submit a claim request to verify ownership of their listing. Claim approval is at our discretion and may require supporting documentation. Once approved, the claimant gains access to the owner dashboard to manage their listing. We are not responsible for resolving ownership disputes between parties.

User Responsibilities

As a user of this website, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate information when submitting business listings or creating an account
  • Not use the website for any unlawful purpose
  • Not attempt to manipulate listings, ratings, or reviews
  • Respect the intellectual property rights of others
  • Not scrape, crawl, or reproduce website content without prior written consent
  • Comply with all applicable local, state, and national laws

Third-Party Services

Our website integrates with third-party services including Google Places API, Cashfree payment gateway, and Google Analytics. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and policies. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or performance of third-party services.

Intellectual Property

All website content not submitted by users, including design, text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of Mumbai Directory or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. User-submitted content remains the property of the submitter, with a license granted to Mumbai Directory as described above.

Limitation of Liability

Mumbai Directory shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the website or any information provided therein. This includes but is not limited to damages resulting from reliance on listing information, payment processing errors, or loss of data.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Mumbai Directory, its owners, and affiliates harmless from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, or expenses arising from your use of the website, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.

Privacy

Your use of the website is also governed by our Privacy Policy and Disclaimer, which are incorporated by reference into these Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra.
