- Great common space for eating and working on a laptop.
- Staff are generally friendly.
- Nice rooftop views to relax and spend time.
2. CONS:
- Terrible overall hygiene.
- Bedbugs found in both the rooms and the bedding.
- Rats roaming around the common area.
- Foul odor in the toilets.
- Mold in the bathrooms.
- Smelly/musty bedding.
- Dust-covered personal fans
- Located far from the city center.
- Constant neglect has left the property run-down and deteriorating.
3. SUMMARY:
This place probably used to be great, but a total lack of management has turned it into a run-down hostel.
After check-in, I didn't get my ID card back. I realized it was not in my wallet only after I reached Pune for my next check-in.
The receptionist was very kind enough to help this sorted and sent me via courier. Thank you guys.
The rooms could be better, AC isn't cool enough and mini fan doesn't have speed control, so it was either over cool or no cool at all which was unpleasant.
Nice place, terrace has really nice view up there. Good location, very close to CSMT, only 300mts to Masjid rly st. No bus, only Uber/Rapido.
Guysss !! Don't book this shit !! Shity room , rude receptionist, no bedspread change for 5days !!, AC only for 7hrs !!

Had confusion to stay on this property or not. But it was worst stay,value for money. People reviewed this place bad as per the big dormitory hall where 40 beds . I took 6 beds room was excellent experience nice smell in the room and bathroom too. They need to look after the maintenance of the building and rooms. Nice view from top of the building where they have place to have some party time.
Bad part of this property is location you will be worried to get the transportation to go center of the city always traffic few buses available on that route.
Have to take taxi or uber it is expensive than your bed price 😁😂
I recently stayed at Urban Stays Hostel with my friends, and we booked 4 beds — unfortunately, it turned out to be one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. The location itself is very bad and the surrounding locality feels unsafe and uncomfortable, especially for travellers.
The room was not cleaned at all. The floor had stains, the curtains were dirty, and the beds had bedbugs, which made the stay extremely stressful. Even the washrooms were poorly maintained — dirty, unhygienic, and far from acceptable standards.
Overall, nothing about the property matched the photos or descriptions provided. I would not recommend this hostel to anyone and sincerely hope the management takes these issues seriously.
