It was a great experience being able to volunteer in the umang foundation. It is a good ngo and must visit for all the person who are thinking of volunteering in the ngo.
As pharmacy students, this field experience provided invaluable insights into public health at
the grassroots level. We observed firsthand how financial constraints directly impact a child's
access to both basic nutrition and education. Coordinating a structured event with an
established NGO also honed our organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.
The outreach program at Shelar Pada was successfully executed. The initiative not only
brought immediate joy and essential resources to the children but also fulfilled our academic
mandate to actively participate in social and preventive community care. We extend our
sincere gratitude to the Umang Foundation
Trust for facilitating this impactful collaboration.
I had the opportunity to volunteer here as part of my course curriculum and the experiences that I had here were some of the most valuable experiences i have had.
