Had a great stay at Solo Backpackers Hostel, Bandra! The location is extremely convenient, with easy access to public transport, cafés, and some of the best spots in Mumbai. The hostel has a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, making it easy to meet fellow travelers from different places.
The dorms were comfortable, the common areas were well-maintained, and the staff were helpful and accommodating throughout my stay. I especially appreciated the social vibe of the hostel—it felt like a community rather than just a place to sleep.
If you’re a solo traveler looking for an affordable, well-connected, and friendly place to stay in Mumbai, I would definitely recommend Solo Backpackers Hostel. Looking forward to staying here again!
Worst Place To Be On Earth... Humble Request To Not Go Here..
I Got Pneumonia After Staying There For Only 1 Hour. Doesn't Even Deserve 1 Star.
I had a very bad experience staying at this hostel. The hygiene standards were poor and the overall cleanliness was disappointing. The beds were extremely uncomfortable, which made it difficult to rest properly. The location was also not mentioned clearly, the hostel is on the 7th floor, and to make things worse, the lift was often not working, which was very inconvenient. The washroom area was not maintained well, and even the mirror was dirty. Overall, my experience was very disappointing and I would not recommend this place.
Should not get even 1 star photo are very misleading everything shown in photo is exactly same but in worst condition. The building is in construction, and no lift till 7th floor. They have only 1 toilet for females which is worst as well. I reached around 3 in the morning and was very tired and the guy who checked me in was kinda rude and very slow, I was standing there for almost 30 mins with my bags. People staying there are kinda shady. One girl started cussing me and other girl for no reason. Waste of money.
WORST EXPERIENCE. ZERO PROFESSIONALISM.
The staff doesn’t even have basic common sense.
For women, this place is not safe at all. The cleaners/housekeeping enter the women’s rooms without knocking or asking for permission, which is completely unacceptable.
The entire hostel roof leaks — beds get wet, rooms stink, and there is no proper maintenance.
Staff is rude, unresponsive, and does not respect customers.
Absolutely no proper housekeeping.
Would NOT recommend this place to anyone.
