I visited Sohum Eye Care today. Staff is excellent. Wonderful management with great care, even though it was heavily crowded, being Saturday. Dr. Abhijeet Desai is very helpful, knowledgeable and kind to patients. Our family have been going to them since more than 16 years. Wonderful experience every time!! They have the latest technology. I would highly recommend their clinic.

I booked an appointment for my father's cataract check-up(End of Feb 2026) with Dr. Abhijeet Desai. However, another doctor ended up performing the check-up instead. This lack of transparency is disappointing and defeats the purpose of booking an appointment with a specific doctor.
It also left me uncertain about whether Dr. Abhijeet would perform the surgery or if it would be assigned to another doctor. This is not acceptable behaviour from a reputed chain associated of Dr. Agarwal's Eye Hospital.
I would suggest that the hospital maintain clear transparency with patients.
I recently visited here and had an amazing experience. The staff were super friendly. Dr. Ashwini Ghuge the one who was assigned to me was very professional and the consultation was thorough. Would highly recommend it.
You will never be attended as per appointment.
They don’t consider eye complains as an emergency.
Doctor must be good and so is the staff, just managed very poorly.
If you can spend more than half day for a regular eye check pls visit. Doesnt matter what time is the appointment and dedicate your day to clinic.
