I had a wonderful experience working with Simone and her teammate Kripa on a custom concept saree. The entire process—from design discussions to taking measurements—was done virtually, yet it couldn’t have gone more smoothly.
Kripa took my measurements over a WhatsApp call with absolute precision. I’ve ordered custom outfits from various designers in the past, and there’s usually some element of stress involved—whether it’s delays, fitting issues, or unexpected additional last-minute charges. But this time, there were no surprises. The saree was ready on time, fit like a glove, and exceeded my expectations in every way.
Simone’s design sensibility is impeccable, and her attention to detail truly shows in the final product. She was a pleasure to work with—professional, responsive, and thoughtful throughout the entire process.

It’s going to be decade in 2024 that I know the designer Simone personally right from fashion school. Ever since we started out she always had a very unique and very feminine taste of clothing. Always loved intricate embroidery. Her brand Simone Handcrafted is an extensive version of herself. The pastel shades, intricate embroidery, made to measure is something she has always wanted her brand to have. I have been lucky enough to see her growth into this amazing designer that she’s become. Extremely polite to speak to, the customisation that she provides is so comfortable as a client in a world of rigid designers where they really finds it hard to cater to the international client base yet she does it so effortlessly to perfection. The massive international clientele she carries right now is a testament. If you are a to be bride who doesn’t likes things bright but something with beautiful embroidery and pastel shades this is the place you have to visit! Must visit!
You can't attend a wedding in Bombay without bumping into a number of girls wearing Simone. And each girl's outfit is completely different from the other, customised to her taste and requirements and body type, and yet you just know it's Simone.
Simone's popularity is well deserved. Her clothes are classy, elegant, beautiful and feminine. They look a lot more expensive than they are, (they're so well priced)!
Simone spends so much time with each client, patiently going over the details of the outfit, giving great advice and also letting you feel like you are co-creating the outfit to your liking. Despite juggling hundreds of orders, Simone somehow manages to make each customer feel special and cared for.
I think that the most important thing about clothes (especially wedding clothes) is whether or not you feel good, confident and beautiful in them, and whenever I wear my Simone outfits I feel like my prettiest!
