I had LASIK eye surgery in December 2023 a few days before my 46th birthday. I had both near and far vision problems needing three different types of glasses - which also affected my work, driving and day to day life.
I saw Dr Nitin Deshpande at the Milind clinic and then had surgery in the Thane hospital by Dr Prajakta Deshpande. We agreed that the LASIK would target the near vision number.
It was a day procedure - and lasted less than 20 min for both eyes. The procedure was quick, with clear and consistent advice both before and after the surgery. I was given clear post care advice.
It has been three years and I continue to enjoy glass-free near vision. I wear glasses for driving only or to see something far away.
Despite my age, and the risk of regression of the vision issues, I am happier to have had these years relatively eyeglasses free.
I recommend Shree Ramkrishna Netralaya and Drs Deshpande for an amazing and affordable experience.
