The name of this bakery/restaurant is Sassanian boulangerie. They are a Parsi bakery and serve sweet and delicacies. It's a joint restaurant and bakery , I ate chicken puffs and bread pudding. Both of them are average. It's okay and you can try visit this old Parsi food joint. It's run by these Parsi old couples now , Sassanian is an old iranian dynasty and boulangerie is a French word for bakery - got to know from those couples.
It has that old Parsi food joint vibe. Give a visit try a thing or two.

The Kheema pav was good but the rest were trash.
We tried Kheema pav, Chicken Dhansak with rice. Rice was stale and felt like it was a week old cooked rice. The place was empty. Bread pudding was not good. Lagnu Nu custard was bad. This place should be shut. The staff behave as if they're not getting paid for working here. Only cash accepted.
Regret visiting this hyped place
This is one of the few 100+ years old Irani restaurants of Mumbai still in continuous operation. Stepping inside is a genuine journey back in time, where vintage chairs, antique mirrors, and the overall ambiance evoke a century-old charm. Regrettably, the quality of the cuisine has declined significantly from its former glory. Visit for the unique historical atmosphere, but temper your expectations regarding the culinary experience.
*"A Legendary Kheema Paav Experience at Sassanian Cafe!"*
I'm still drooling thinking about the heavenly Kheema Paav at Sassanian Cafe! This 111-year-old Parsi institution has truly outdone itself. The kheema is cooked to perfection, with a perfect balance of spices, tender mutton, and a hint of nostalgia. The pav is soft, and the sliced onions and lime add a burst of freshness to each bite.
The ambiance is straight out of a vintage Bollywood film, making you feel like you're dining in the past. The service is prompt, courteous, and genuinely warm.
If you're a foodie, a Parsi cuisine enthusiast, or just looking for a truly authentic Mumbai experience, Sassanian Cafe's Kheema Paav is an absolute MUST-TRY!

We tried a sizzler which was a mistake, but the bakery products are nice, we took a few biscuits and puff at the end, bun maska and omelette were good. Gets a but hot and humid inside the cafe and tables are used usually a bit small. Service was okay and quick, place was almost empty on a Sunday afternoon which means there are better cafe around waiting to be explored.
