Great selection of Marathi and Hindi books. All books are available at 20% discount. Must visit place in Mumbai for book lovers.
Great place to shop for little known books. Wide variety of left-liberal books as well as general literature. Huge collection of books from Aakar, Leftword, NBT, Navayana publishers which you will not get anywhere else in Mumbai. It is quite an experience to browse through the numerous bookshelves, the magazines and leaflets.
The collection of books about Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar is well done

Book store in Kala Ghoda, Mumbai since 1960. Shop worth a visit. Especially for literature, political and Social sciences.
Great collection of books.
Pleasantly old-fashioned book store which sells primarily Marathi literature. You will probably find more Marathi books here than any other book store in Mumbai. Books are of various kinds social, political, fiction, history, biographies, autobiographies... Staff is friendly and welcoming. I spent a whole rainy afternoon rummaging for some books which held fond memories. Skimming through the books while having a hot cutting chai was a lovely experience.
