Adding this place to the must eat list on our next trip back. All the dishes were fantastic and the the ice cream with a floral taste was one of the most unique dishes I’ve tried, loved it! The set up is pretty cool and I can’t wait to go back
There’s an unmistakable old-world charm here; an almost nostalgic, lived-in elegance that feels refreshingly authentic in a city that often chases the new and shiny.
The ambience is wonderfully understated: warm lighting, vintage touches, wooden furniture that has seen stories, and that classic Bombay colonial-meets-Bandra vibe.
The food is rich, deeply flavoured, cooked with real care. Every dish carries that unmistakable depth; nothing is timid or overly polished. The spicing is confident, the portions generous, and the execution consistent. It’s the kind of meal that lingers in memory long after you’ve left.
Whether it’s a quiet celebration, a catch-up with old friends, or simply craving something soulful, Pali Bhavan delivers exactly what one hopes for in a neighbourhood favourite: character, flavour, and comfort in equal measure.
Highly recommended for those who appreciate substance over spectacle.
We set out on a magnificent culinary adventure at the newly launched Pali Bhavan at Eros, a true gastronomic treasure that shines bright with its sublime Indian cuisine. The ambiance was very laid back, bathed in a warm glow by colonial decor and softly radiant lights. Our delightful odyssey commenced with Tandoori pomfret, Galouti kebab, Malai chicken tikka, and prawn, each dish a brilliant testament to the chef's innovative genius. The main course showcased their legendary crab Sukkha and Kali Dal, masterfully crafted to exhilarate the senses. The crowning glory was the paan kulfi and chocolate roshogolla, desserts that left us utterly enchanted. The food was truly sublime, with flavors that joyfully danced on the palate and desserts that stole the spotlight, rendering the entire experience profoundly unforgettable.
This is a lovely restaurant with absolutely amazing food. Every dish we had was fantastic - some of the best food we have had whilst in India. Friendly and attentive staff and the restaurant has a lovely atmosphere. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Mumbai
Simply the best Indian food I've ever eaten. I've visited twice and everything I've ordered and been recommended has been delicious.
Service was quick and smooth and the setting is gorgeous. The restaurant looks completely innocuous from the outside but inside is very well decorated and welcoming.
The Gunpowerd Potatoes were perfectly spiced. A real standout dish and I'll be ordering a portion every time I visit.
