MBA healthcare management
I thought pursuing an MBA from here would be a great decision, but unfortunately, it turned out to be one of the worst experiences.
The college promises placements, but the reality is very different. I was placed in a startup, and within just 3 months, the company shut down. The organization itself lacked experienced professionals and proper structure.
It has now been a year, and I am still searching for a stable job. Several of my batchmates are also still unemployed and did not receive any placement support. When we reached out to the college, they simply told us to find jobs on our own.
I pursued Healthcare Management, but the placement support and career guidance were extremely disappointing.
This is a formal complaint regarding the extremely poor and unprofessional support experienced during my spouse’s Online MBA program at NMIMS.
During the admission phase, the assigned counselor (Amita) was highly persistent in calling and following up for enrollment and fee payment. However, immediately after the payment of substantial fees, the level of support dropped significantly.
A critical issue arose when the exam registration link was not functioning. When we contacted the counselor for assistance, instead of providing guidance, she responded in an inappropriate and dismissive manner, stating:
"Main kyun aapko bataun? Aap kabhi mera phone uthate ho kya?"
Such a response is unacceptable and raises serious concerns about the professionalism and accountability expected from an institution of this stature.
To clarify:
• Students are not obligated to respond to repeated follow-up calls.
• However, once enrolled and fees are paid, it is the institution’s responsibility to ensure proper academic support and guidance.
• Denying or delaying support on personal grounds is highly unprofessional.
This experience reflects a concerning gap between the admission process and post-admission student support.
I urge NMIMS to:
Review the conduct of its counseling staff
Establish accountability in student support systems
Ensure that students receive timely and respectful assistance
If such issues are not addressed, it can significantly impact the trust and credibility of the institution.
Worst Experience with this Money Sucking Institute
They pretend to be helpful before admission, but once they take your money, they stop caring. Zero accountability, no ownership of their mistakes, and they keep charging students instead of fixing issues. Extremely disappointing experience. Worst decision — I wish I had read the reviews before taking admission.
Terrible experience. Everything is automated. They randomly close tickets. I am having a horrible time on this course from the time I signed up. Student counselors are not helpful. For technical glitches, they penalize the students. No logic whatsoever. My quiz stopped saving midway and I raised a ticket. Ticket responses are usually mailed. Apparently many students faced the issue so they have made a reattempt possible for those students (including me) but with zero intimation. Do you expect working professionals to be spending 24/7 on the NMIMS website!??!?! Not at all student friendly and treats grown ups as though they are school students!!! Ridiculous and the worst decision I ever made to join this course. Please don't fall for the marketing gimmicks. What they promise and what they are in reality are totally different.
For part time MBA best institute to learn, grow, its syllabus is not more theoretical it has more practical syllabus. Its faculty are too good. Infrastructure is very good. Everything is well maintained. It focuses more on studies and to develop each and every student.
