I am very thankful to Navjeevan for giving me blood on time. I went to many places for blood but everyone refused me, they said there is a shortage and the staff team here is very good. Thank you.
They make a mockery of this noble act of donating blood.
They messaged me saying that pls come as donate as there is a tremendous shortage. I reached there and was shooed away and told, "Come tomorrow". Not at all professional.
Disappointing experience! Donated blood at NMMC camp, but Navjivan Blood Bank refused to help when I needed it for my dad's surgery. Forced to buy blood instead! Unacceptable! Staff seemed unconcerned. Expected more from a reputable blood bank. 1/5 stars. Would not recommend.
They charge ₹500 per bag as processing charges which is again not refundable. With me, they showed up one day before the surgery and asked me to pay Rs. 1500 as blood reserve charges which will be refunded if the blood is not used. As we did not use aby blood during surgery we asked them to refund. But they now say it's not refundable as they used it as processing charges. They also do not issue any receipt for payment made. They just work on threats and make the relatives scared that you better pay me else blood will not be available to you when you require. Totally disgusting service.
They are charging ₹500 per bag as deposit just to block the bag. But deposit is never refunded. They say they charge it as testing charges. The blood was not used also during operation. We had booked 3 bags. ₹1500.
I wonder if our booked bag was not used then why to take money. In anyway they are going to use it for someone else.
Whenever we donate blood (free of cost) we assume that it would be helpful to the needy but what we understood from the incident that it's not freely given to the needy.
