I visited the hospital for blood donation with a genuine intention to help others. During the screening, I was told that my hemoglobin level was low. However, after further tests, everything came out normal and there was no health issue found.
I feel the staff handling the blood donation process need better training and proper knowledge. Hiring inexperienced staff without enough medical understanding can create unnecessary fear and confusion for donors. Because of this, people who come forward for a good cause may feel discouraged from donating blood again.
I hope the hospital management improves staff training and ensures accurate guidance is given to donors in the future.

They are a shame on humanity. They take a non refundable deposit of ₹450 , do not give receipt, no terms clearly explained. My dad was being operated upon in SUVARNA Hospital Borivali west and we had requested for reservation of blood on 19.03.2026. Fortunately we did not need blood on 20.03 and 21.03 but we were in need of blood unit for 22.03.2026.When we called them, they said it is over 24 hours so you will have to pay deposit again . Basically a con game to get ₹450 as advance and refuse to accept it later ( within 48 hours). This is absolute inhuman behaviour from the blood bank. They will have a curse of a million people if they continue to operate with such foolish money mindset with no respect to customer inconvenience and do not bother to give any receipts or explain these terms before making reservation. They should be closed down on unethical business practices.
The staff at this blood bank are very useless and have very low level of ideology. I was sent by the doctor at Satabdi Hospital to help an elderly man and ordered emergency blood. They delayed the payment for a long time. When I was making the payment, I was given a cash payment. There is no change for 500 rs in such a big blood bank. They made me check it from the shop next door. The staff is very terrible in such an emergency.
Very bad service
One of the best blood bank to donate your blood. The process was smooth and calm. They gave me a card which has a 1 year validity so if a peron needs blood within that period they will get 400rs discount.
