Absolutely unacceptable experience with Murlidhar Sweets, Borivali. I received a box of sweets that were spoiled and had visible fungus on them. This is not just poor quality — it's a serious health risk. Selling contaminated sweets is dangerous, especially when people trust shops like this during festive occasions.
If this is how they maintain their products, they have no business selling food to the public. It’s clear there’s a complete lack of hygiene, storage standards, and responsibility.
⚠️ A strong warning to everyone: DO NOT buy sweets from Murlidhar during Diwali or any occasion. Don’t risk your family’s health over pretty packaging and false reputation.
Shops like this must be held accountable. I hope the authorities take action before someone falls seriously ill.
Buy sweets for Diwali from Murlidhar, but please check properly before buying. Some sweets were found with fungus, so avoid or inspect carefully.”
Muralidhar Sweets and farsan is well organised shop with sufficient counters and POS.
Location is at the west end of Sudhir Phadke bridge Borivali west.
This shop Known for authentic sweets and Farsan offers a varieties of Sweets, laddus and farsan. Their products are in best in taste 😋 and authentic.
One counter is dedicated for yummy shrikhand e.g. Rose 🌹 petal shrikhand. Mix fruits, Mango 🥭 etc.
Staff is active, well-groomed and courteous.
May encouner with crowed during festival seasons.
Brand is failing at delivering an experience... no matter how fancy the packaging is - if your staff at the counter doesn't know the basics of welcoming and greeting customers the product quality and your packaging is settling at mid.
Staff next to the left side counter is so full of arrogance even the owners don't carry such attitude - ruins the buying experience - would prefer to opt for other brands any day!
Good hospitality turns buying into an experience and make customers try and buy more than too!
I frequently order breakfast items from here, rumali dhokla and nylon khman is very good in quality and taste.
They serve very unique chutney and sambhara ( papaya ).we also ordered green peas samosa which is ok in taste.
You can also try palak samosa which I have already tried earlier and it's good.
