Monte south is a premium Residential Property with a VIPs lifestyle. Many reputed and high-profile residents are staying here, which adds great value and class to the building. The overall environment is pleasant, well-maintained, and improving day by day.
Every building has some minor issues, which is normal, but the management and living experience here are good. As an agent, I confidently recommend Monte South building as an excellent choice for both residence and investment.
I strongly advise not buying a flat in Monte South. The experience here has been nothing short of disappointing and frustrating. The environment is not what we expected from a so-called “luxury” residence. Instead of a peaceful and upscale living experience, we are facing constant issues that make daily life difficult.
The biggest issue is the kind of people living here—many lack basic manners, and the atmosphere feels unrefined. There’s a lot of unnecessary show-off, but no real sense of community or decency. Some residents engage in unacceptable behavior, like spitting from upper floors, which is absolutely disgusting. The construction noise is unbearable, and the entire project seems poorly managed.
The staff is extremely rude and unprofessional. It’s clear that cheap labor has been hired, and there is no training in basic courtesy or service. The maintenance is a complete scam—overpriced, yet the facilities are in terrible condition. The air conditioning doesn’t even work in the lifts, making it suffocating to go up to higher floors. Hygiene is another huge issue—garbage and mosquitoes are everywhere, and pan stains cover the parking areas.
One of the most frustrating and recurring problems is the water supply. Every week, there is some issue—pipes breaking, dirty water flowing, or no water at all. Imagine being in the middle of a shower, cooking, or hosting guests, and suddenly there’s no water for hours! Right now, in my house, there has been no water in the kitchen for two days, except for one washroom. Despite multiple complaints, nothing has been resolved. The plumber comes and does nothing, and management responds with a casual “K” after several emails. It’s unacceptable.
We moved here expecting a high-quality lifestyle with minimal distress, but instead, it has been the complete opposite. This place is exhausting and mentally draining. People seem indifferent to the problems around them, and there is no accountability. The entire experience has made me realize the value of my old home, where life was peaceful, the energy was positive, and basic necessities like clean water were never a problem.
At this point, I am seriously considering leaving because the situation here is beyond frustrating. I regret moving here and would not recommend it to anyone looking for a genuinely comfortable and luxurious living experience. Not a homely feeling here.

Actually the visit to Marathon Monte South project site, Byculla on 23.02.23 was an educational field trip of Interior Design and Decoration trainees from Govt. ITI Borivali. The project is fantastic, designed by the world renowned Architect Hafeez Contractor with one 60+ storeyed high rise residential building. The building is constructed and equipped with latest revolutionary technology such as use of epoxy adhesive grout for fixing floor wall tiles, machine finished screed concrete flooring in parking levels, high grade strength concrete for structure with latest aluminium shuttering, high speed elevators. The sample flats were magnificent with exquisite design worth seeing. We wish them all the very best and once again thank you for the opportunity given to us.
