Extremely disappointing experience at Le Mill. The staff treated me with suspicion the moment I walked in, trailing behind me as though I was about to steal something. On top of that, I was even asked with a mocking face why I was there — shocking behavior for a store that claims to represent luxury.
Luxury is supposed to be about service, respect, and creating a world-class experience. Instead, Le Mill made me feel judged and unwelcome. If this is how they treat potential clients, it says more about their insecurity than about anyone walking through their doors.
True luxury doesn’t need to police its visitors — it earns loyalty with grace. Le Mill has a lot to learn.
Not everyone walks in to make a purchase the first time. Many visit to explore, to get a feel of the brand, and to build trust before buying. Instead of being welcomed, I was followed, mocked, and made to feel like I did not belong — simply because I wasn’t holding a shopping bag.
For a store that claims to represent international luxury, such behavior is shocking. True luxury is about grace, respect, and hospitality — not judgment. Until the staff learn this, the store will remain pretentious rather than truly world-class.
Rukhsar Mukadam is extremely helpful at Le Mill. It is one of the few places which offers luxury goods and egalitarian treatment to all. You need not hesitate to make an enquiry, you’ll surely be impressed with the warm and forthcoming attitude of the stylists at Le Mill. Happy shopping!
New Yorker living in Mumbai and think le mill is spectacular... a distinctly indian take on the familiar. Only request is that they keep it coming with the blog. Love going into the shop or sending my boyfriend in for Mumbai recommendations.
It's a luxury store. The customer service is good and store is very well maintained and has a lovely collection on display. Floor planning is well done.
STUNNING SHOP! It smells so good and the selection of women's wear is amazing. Accessories, RTW, jewellery, interior etc. can all be found.
The staff is incredibly nice and helpful.
Unfortunately no men's wear. (However, when we asked if they had men's wear they nicely called other concept stores to ask around for us)
