Overall, we had a good experience at Kokilaben Hospital and are grateful for the treatment and support provided to our patient. The doctors and staff were generally helpful and professional.

However, we would like to share a few suggestions that may help improve patient comfort and care further:

- In shared wards, TV volume is often kept very high by other patients/attendants, which can disturb rest and recovery. Better monitoring of noise levels would be helpful.
- During the shift from ICU to ward, there was swelling noticed in the patient’s hand, possibly due to negligency in handling which unfortunately was not identified immediately.
- Medicine administration and checks sometimes required repeated reminders. We felt the need to stay highly vigilant and repeatedly request reviews/checks.
- During nurse shift changes, there were occasions where the incoming staff did not seem fully aware of the patient’s details and ongoing requirements.
- It would also be reassuring if resident doctors could occasionally visit and console or update patients/families during night hours as well.

This hospital is very close to my home, and I have been noticing it for quite some time. It always has a good crowd, which clearly shows the trust people have in it.
I even recommended it to a family friend for treatment, and their experience turned out to be very positive.

The best part is that the hospital is spacious and well-maintained. The doctors are well-trained and experienced in their respective fields, and the staff is supportive and professional.

We recently had treatment at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital, Koparkhairne, and overall our experience was very good.
The doctors were knowledgeable and explained the treatment plan clearly. The hospital infrastructure is clean, well-maintained, and equipped with modern facilities. Emergency response and ICU care were handled professionally, which gave us confidence during a difficult time.
A special thanks to the nursing staff — Vaishnavi, Aleena, and Sangeeta — for their kindness, patience, and attentive care. They were supportive, polite, and always ready to help. Their compassionate approach made a big difference in the patient’s recovery journey.

Admitted senior citizen patient experienced inefficiencies twice.

Untrained nurses:
hardly any experience, makes, adminsters saline drip and forgets to take out, checks BP without stethoscope, no regular checks on patient. No keeping track of appointments of x-ray, ct scan etc.
Measures and notes 90/50 BP for a high BP patient as normal !
Communication issues. Standard answers for any query.

Administration:
1. Too much process but too little staff to handle the load. So, even for admission or any procedure related forms, you end up waiting for 1 to 2 hours after taking token.

2. TPA / cashles - At admission policy details are asked but not informed that there those are not being used to initiate mediclaim. So, you may lose one day thinking they might have initiated.
Then you come to know about token thing for TPA desk, and heavy form filling, and printouts etc.

3. For every subsequent query or work, you have to wait for endless queues. If aksed for senior persons, reply is negative. No other supervisor/senior only the front desks.

4. Cashless is joke - because you will be asked to deposit almost 80 to 90% upfront before any procedure. Out if this 10% is refunded 2 to 3 months later.

Diagnostics:
Same endless queues, you get appointment for 12 pm. Patient without any food since morning. Waiting outside the labs, the number comes at 4pm ! Even seen ICU patient waiting for so long - how can one normalize such process ? If you want reports, again you will have to run from pillar to post - not given to patient directly.

The doctor you opt for, may give attention for the procedure he is supposed to perform, after that its all lose ends, no cohesive treatment, and no easy access to doctors.

Excellent Doctors, Heartless Management.
While the doctors are great, the hospital is poorly managed. The administrative staff is ruthless and unprofessional. It feels like patients are being exploited and harassed for money at every step. Dealing with their administration is a mental nightmare. Apart from the doctors, everything else is a mess. Expect administrative harassment, financial exploitation, and zero empathy from the staff. Avoid if you want an stress-free recovery. A lot of misinformation and half information is there. So be careful. Not recommended at all otherwise the attendees with patients will become patients by themselves with the pressure they gave you.
