Beautiful shop! Has good collection of books on most of the genres. Shop has 2 floors, but most of the books are on the ground floor. The shop has a cafe too! The staff is very helpful! The ambience is awesome! It's a must visit for book lovers! Pay and Park facility is available in the street behind the shop and around Harniman circle.
Had a wonderful experience at Kitab Khana. The bookstore has a calm and beautiful atmosphere that makes it a perfect place for book lovers. Their collection is impressive, with books ranging from literature and history to art, photography, and modern fiction. The interior is elegant and cozy, creating a peaceful reading environment. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. Definitely one of the best places in Mumbai to relax, explore great books, and spend quality time.
If you are a reader and got hours to spare then this place should be in your list. As a reader myself this place got me hooked i took my neice here as well and she too loved the place saying anyone can easily spend an entire day here. Wishing to visit here soon again
One if my favourite store whenever I visit Mumbai, just love the children section and especially the illustrations of some of these books. It looks very busy at all times but there is pin drop silence by shoppers, everyone respecting each other's presence in a book store.
Staff are very helpful which makes the buying much more easy.
I have never left without a book and that's the best usp about the place.
Such a beautiful place to see and buy books. In fact, one of the largest that I’ve seen in the same area and the little Coffee Shop inside is fabulous because of the quiet and comfort.
