Bought a dress for my family supeb quality and lovely collection
My sister and I spotted a gorgeous garment on display but we didn’t realize it came with a side of unsolicited hostility. Before we could even step inside, the owner intercepted us like a nightclub bouncer, barking the price before we could even say hello—as if checking our credit scores at the door.
While the kind staff showed us the options, the owner’s bias became impossible to ignore. He snapped at an Indian woman for gently touching a fabric, yet stood by silently while foreign tourists handled the racks freely. Apparently, in this shop, your "right to touch" depends on your passport.
After deciding the clothes were better than the service, we paid via UPI to make a quick escape. Instead, we were held hostage at the counter. Despite our confirmation screen, the owner—who seems to treat technology like a foreign language—spent three agonizing minutes fumbling with his phone to verify the payment, refusing to even look at our proof.
Final Verdict: The clothes are great, but the owner is a glitch in his own system. To the "bouncer" in charge: install a UPI soundbox so you don’t have to talk to the customers you clearly don't respect. Let your staff handle the service—they actually know what they’re doing.
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS PLACE ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE A FOREIGNER!
The shop owner is very rude and uses harsh language towards customers. The products are literally the same quality as those in the shops next door, but their prices are 300-400 rupees higher. When I asked the owner, surprised, about the price. I replied in a normal tone that the same products can be purchased elsewhere in India for exactly four times less, suggesting that this was some kind of scam on foreign tourists. The owner became aggressive and forced me to leave the shop, even though I was eager to see more of the products. I highly do not recommend this shop – it's not worth buying any souvenirs here.
excellent quality items boutique. I made a 2nd trip in the same day after wearing some items back at hotel. Boss-man so polite n well spoken. What's your good name, sir? Will tell friends about your shop n prevail on them to get me stuff when they visit
I got 3 good quality cotton maxis from here and the shopkeeper was so nice and shared his travel stories with us.
