This place is truly a hidden gem. In a world where kids are glued to screens, you really need something more engaging than screens to grab their attention and this place has it..... Books! Not just any books; curated, colorful, engaging, "based on real life experiences" books. We were greeted by their very passionate staff and the owner Sangeeta who were excited to see us. I learnt more about storytelling in 5 minutes with Sangeeta than I did in my life. We thought we would buy just a couple of books and leave but after we entered and saw their collection, we left with 15 books (and we stopped coz our baggage allowance on our flight back home wouldn't allow more..lol). Can't wait to be back here soon.
Everything a book lover could ask for- Cozy corners, comforting books and the sweetest owner, Ms Sangeeta. It’s a child’s paradise. A wide genre of children’s books, Indian authors & international publishers . My kids loved spending their Sunday immersed in stories galore. Not to forget, they have the kindest staff who are so good with the children .
Easily one of our most favourite places in Mumbai.
In Mumbai, you might want to skip a visit to marine drive and enter this amazing world of books - Kahani Tree, specifically curated for children aged 0 years to 13 years by Sangeeta Bhansali.
India has amazing child authors but in prominent stores you won’t find their books. Kahani Tree allows you to connect with the thoughts of these amazing child authors by showcasing their books and allowing you to purchase them at a very reasonable price.
Finally made it to Kahani Tree today..
It was on my "To do list" last trip to India but did not happen then.
Spacious place, well lit, well stacked books for children. If you want to encourage your child to read a definite place to visit.
I chose Indian authors with a desi flavour to take back home with me for my grand daughter.
Who is currently 9 months old and already gets read to and loves seeing colorful books..
Staff were very helpful!
Absolute pleasure to visit.
A book is a dream that you hold in your hands.
My happy place is a book store, library or even a street vendor selling books. Came across a new place - Kahani tree 🌳.
Turned into a little kid filling my bag with books to buy and read. My son was all excited and showed interst in many new topics. A very good collections of Indian and International tiles, English and bi-lingual books too. 📚.
Very helpful staff and wonderland for kids.
Do call and visit.
