The hospital is not like it used to be before, my father is ex service men , so we went in surgical opd and my father had pain in his left kidney so we told the dr About the situation. But the dr was not serious at all he was on his mobile phone , he didn't even looked at my father properly , not even asked about what is happening . He told us about neurology but the problem was of kidney which is called nephrology. We even double asked what he said . We told him it is of nephrology, he just gave us tablets . We just gave up on trying and looked for private hospital. It was seriously a bad service. Didn't expect this from a well-known millatry hospital.
Absolutely horrible experience at Oncology department of INHS ASHVINI. Took my mother who is a cancer patient from Thane to Asvini but the HOD Oncology didn't even bother to talk to her or look at her condition. We did the surgery outside and visited Asvini for further treatment. On our first visit, the Oncologist just told us to get a CT scan as apparently he was not able to understand the PER CT report, he didn't even speak to my mother of her condition or guided us on the line of treatment. We did the CT Scan and came back for our 2nd visit. Again this fellow said the report is not as per his expectations and told us to submit the report to their radiology. This time again my mother travelled so much for no reason, as the doctor ( shouldn't be called), didn't even bother to look at her condition. We submitted the reports to their radiology report and told to come back after 2 days. We visited 3rd time and the reports didn't even move for almost 2 days. When we asked for the reports the radiology department just said that they forgot to review the reports. It was so frustrating that I had to make my mother travel everytime for absolutely no reason just because the staff is highly incompetent. We visited the Oncology department, but this time the HOD didn't have the basic courtesy to address this situation and didn't even see us. We were sent to other Oncologist, and he just told us why are you visiting us after surgery. And he gave us referral letter for other hospital. Absolutely inhumane and unprofessional attitude by the department. All 3 times, I had to take my ill mother but they didn't even bother to see her or talk to her or advise us anything. The service is provided by the govt to the Ex Servicemen but these people behaved as if they are doing any favour. Even if one person's life can be saved reading this review, I will be more than happy.

The hospital services are highly inefficient and unacceptable. The OPD registration process is extremely slow, especially for review patients, causing unnecessary delays. The blood sample registration process is equally poor, taking an excessive amount of time and showing a lack of proper planning.
The OPD review by doctors is unreasonably delayed, with patients forced to wait for long hours. There is no effective time management or patient flow control. The medicine requisition and dispensing system is badly designed, leading to significant delays and complete wastage of patients’ time.
Despite upgrading to an online system, INHS Asvini has failed to improve service delivery. The system is very slow, poorly implemented, and inefficient, adding to patient frustration instead of reducing it. Immediate corrective action and a complete review of hospital processes are urgently required.
