The stay here is calm and peaceful, but the rooms are expensive as well as the food is expensive as well. Buffet Breakfast in Morning and Dinner at night are really good but they are really expensive. The rooms are cozy but also small in comparision of the charges they charge for room, refrigerator available inside room, I believe all rooms are non-smoking rooms which is a good thing, beds are comfortable and sofr pillow, lobby is good, parking is also good if you have your own car, but sometimes it's full. Hotel is good but very expensive in all ways, the room terrif should be 20-25% less.
I had a delightful stay at ibis Mumbai Airport. The room was clean, modern and very comfortable — perfect after a long day of travel. The Wi-Fi throughout the hotel was fast and stable, which made it easy to stay connected for work and entertainment. Big thanks to Manav from the IT team for his patient help in setting up my connection. His expertise and friendly service made everything effortless. Highly recommended!
Hey!
This was a work trip with my younger sister joining me - so I decided to go with IBIS - the brand I would trust and especially with being hardly 10mins away from the Int Airport - with the event being in VileParle itself - the location was a no brainer, and being a Gold Status Accor Member - I was able to get the best possible room rates for the duration of my stay (3N 4D)!
Everyone - from the people over at the counter, the checkin desk - the gates and the housekeeping staff were warm!
The smiles, the positivity and the aroma of freshness whilst serving the customers and the members was a sight to behold! The hotel was full(only logical - it being a transit hotel)- there were people everywhere - but not even once was there a feeling that I was left without attention (regardless of the loyalty status I held)
I remember the kind people over at the reception and the guards helped me get a parcel delivered to Fairmont - 10ish mins away from the hotel - provided in the rush, I forgot to take it alongside with me - and without any question - post verification - they mentioned - they would make it happen - and welp - they did! (let me mention - this was 12 - midnight)
The rooms were cleaned for perfection - the bottles - delivered by the housekeeping staffs; immaculately minutes post asking them!
I had to get my suits steam ironed pre event - and the kind people were very generous with the speed and the quality of their service provided - for that - and every small thing - right from the 2AM coke request to the extra towels at 6AM - they did not disappoint!
This is my 5th time staying in an IBIS property in the last 2 years - and regardless of the reason - I prefer IBIS - because it does not seem entry level - not in the phase I am at!
Huge shoutout - to everyone - hope this brings up a smile - and thanks for not letting me have any complaints - not a single one!
(the kind bartender - you were great with your mixology skills and those 11PM mocktails - hit harder than any cocktail would - cheers)
We have stayed at ibis Delhi in the past and had a pleasant experience, which is why we chose to stay at the ibis Mumbai branch. Unfortunately, this stay was extremely disappointing and did not meet the standards we expected from the brand.
One of the biggest issues was the lack of soundproofing in the rooms. The noise insulation was extremely poor — even the footsteps of people walking outside the room were clearly audible. This made it very difficult to rest. It is surprising how a hotel can be built without proper noise control.
The rooms themselves were another concern. They were extremely small, almost like a matchbox, leaving very little space to move comfortably or manage luggage.
We also faced multiple issues with basic amenities. Towels and napkins were not provided in the room, and we had to call the front desk to have them brought to us. These are basic necessities that should already be available upon check-in.
The condition of the bathroom was equally concerning. The running water was yellow, which was quite alarming and raised serious hygiene concerns.
Food quality was another major disappointment. We ordered rotis in the evening, and they were clearly stale and not freshly made. After complaining to the management, we were served another roti, which was unfortunately also stale.
Additionally, there was no bell person available to assist us with our luggage. We had to take our bags to the room ourselves, which is not something guests expect, even at a budget hotel.
The staff were soft-spoken and polite, which we appreciated. However, after our stay, we received a call asking for feedback. When we honestly mentioned the food issue, our feedback was denied rather than acknowledged. This raises a serious question — why ask for feedback if genuine concerns are not accepted?
Overall, this experience was far below the standards we had experienced at other ibis properties. We hope the management takes these issues seriously and works on improving room quality, hygiene, food standards, basic amenities, and how guest feedback is handled.
Nice location suitable for frequent travellers. Rooms and washrooms are bit small. Food quality is good. But cost is high. Room service need training to be more professional. They forgot things like towels daily need frequently, need to remind them.
This hotel has both smoking and non smoking rooms, don’t have gym facility.
