Had an absolutely शानदार experience at Sahara Star! From the moment we entered, the grand architecture and luxurious ambiance left us impressed. The rooms were spacious, well-maintained, and extremely comfortable.
The hospitality was top-notch—staff was polite, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. The dining experience was equally amazing with a great variety of delicious food.
Overall, it’s a perfect blend of luxury, comfort, and excellent service. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a premium stay in Mumbai. Will definitely visit again!
I believe i’ve got a good experience in Mumbai by deciding to stay in this hotel
biiiig and nice concept where some rooms have balconies to inside towards the hotel , amazing
also the roof is a skylight
inside the hotel is like a mall , where so many cafes, restaurants and other services like barber shop
the entrance is majestic i should say where you feel the beauty of the hotel
the rooms have a good space, well arranged and also the room we booked have curtains to cover the ceiling which you can open and see the sky, can you imagine that!!!
located in nice neighborhood and not that far from the airport.
the staff are collaborating and ready to help and support.
there is a security team at the entrance to check and verify. so it is safe and no need to worry
I must say Hotel Sahara Star exceeded my expectations in every way. The ambience is stunning and thoughtfully designed, creating a luxurious yet welcoming vibe right from the moment you enter.
The food quality was excellent—fresh, flavourful, and beautifully presented. Every meal felt carefully curated, and the overall dining experience was truly enjoyable. Room service deserves a special mention for being quick, attentive, and efficient; any request or concern was handled promptly and professionally.
The rooms were spotless, spacious, and impeccably maintained—significantly larger than most Mumbai hotel rooms. The interiors were elegant and comfortable, and having a private balcony attached to the room was a wonderful bonus. It gave the stay a relaxed, resort-like feel, perfect for unwinding in the evening.
From the grand, breathtaking lobby décor to the comfort of the rooms, every detail reflected quality and care. Overall, it was a delightful stay, and I would highly recommend Hotel Sahara Star to anyone looking for comfort, space, great food, and refined hospitality in Mumbai.
Recently visited for a staycation, and honestly, the experience was quite disappointing. The hotel markets itself as a five-star property, but the reality is far from it. While the exterior and overall structure of the hotel look impressive and beautiful, the rooms are extremely basic — more like a three-star hotel. They feel outdated and in need of serious renovation, and there’s nothing premium about the stay once you step inside.
Another major inconvenience is the layout. There are too many rooms with just one lift in the middle, which means a very long walk to reach your room. It definitely takes away from the comfort and convenience you expect at this level.
The restaurant experience was even worse. The staff was uncooperative and inattentive, and the food quality and taste were very poor. They don’t really listen to guest requests. We had pre-ordered a cake the previous night to be picked up at 11 am, but it wasn’t ready even till 12:30 pm — and worse, the staff didn’t even seem aware that such an order existed.
Breakfast was equally disappointing. There were very limited options, many items were unavailable, and there were no Jain options at all. The quality, taste, and overall spread were very average.
There was a time when this hotel was considered one of the best in Mumbai, known for its stunning interiors and grand view. Unfortunately, that charm is completely gone now. Overall, it was a very average experience, and we definitely would not choose to stay here again.
I was one of my bucket list to visit Sahara Star cause there's something unique about this Hotel. The center space is breathtaking as it has a beautiful Ocean/ Aquarium with Koi Ponds and the Mabrok Restaurant serves delicious Mediterranean cuisine. I love the gym has so many equipments and is big. The Staff is good. Would specially like to Thank Mayank Rozario he was Polite and Courteous with our request. Would love to visit again. My 6 year old baby loved it too.
