Happy in the Head

My experience at Happy in the Head was super great. Muskaan really took her time cutting my hair and gave me my best haircut yet! 10/10 would recommend!

I made an appointment an hour before I wanted to go. They were very prompt and professional to enquire of the kind of hair cut I want amd share details of stylists and their charges. The vibe of the salon is great. It was busy and most stylists were wrapping up at that time. Yashita was good at her job, quick (I hate long haircuts and blow dry's) and I am very pleased as she gave me the perfect haircut that I wanted. She was attentive to understand what I want and ensured I was comfortable all throughout.
Though they can take care of the premise better and keep it cleaner, especially the outer sitting.
Overall a good experience. Would be going back to them in future!

I had one of my favorite haircuts ever here! Afsana was so kind, talented and professional. She took the time to provide insight on layering and had such an attention to detail. I have never posted a bad review for any service to date but sadly I have to today. For context I have been getting my hair coloured for the past 21 years. This was my second time at happy in the head. The first was 3 years ago. I totally loved the results at that time. So I went in today travelling well over an hour to the same stylist and showed her inspo pictures, explained what I wanted. what I said was "I want warm blonde highlights, not the cool ash blonde. I don't want the harsh line when the hair grows. I want the rest of the hair which is not highlighted to be brown like we did the last time". Of course I did not expect her to remember what she did 3 years ago. I have a lot of gray hair which I let her know I wasn't really bothered about except the patch at the front of my head which I would like covered. She said she would do a grey cover there. Through the highlight process I kept bringing up what she did the last time which was not being don't this time. For eg: there was no backcombing happening this time just the regular weaving for the highlights. She said she couldn't do it now because of my greys (dint make any sense to me but I'm not the professional here). Once the bleach was put in she told me she would come check my hair in 45 minutes. No one came till 1.5 hours that too when I asked someone to remind her. When it was time to wash out the bleach i once more reminded her that she has not coloured the rest of the hair brown as discussed and I was told that the toner she would use would make the rest of my hair brown. The hair was washed and toned and to say I HATED the results is an understatement. I made my displeasure known. The highlights were ash blonde and brassy. She said the cool blonde will go warmer over the next few months as the toner washes off. The black hair of course did not turn brown and the patch of white hair in the front is still white. This has been the absolute worst colour job I have ever had done and I've had colouring done at a shady parlour on the roadside as well! I have half a mind to apply a box dye over my head but I know that's going to do more harm than good.
I know I'm not going back here again.
