Grounded Cafe

Six of us walked into Grounded Cafe this morning after a nice Sunday morning long drive. Pretty hungry of course. Very chilled out ambience. A real cafe atmosphere. The food orders were varied --- from a full English breakfast, Eggs Florentine to Pancakes and Crepe; coffees and an Orange flavoured hot chocolate. Great tasting fresh food served with a smile. The hash browns as a side needs a special mention....just the right crisp with a yummy inside. We were so happily full that a single portion of Nutella Tiramisu was ordered for us to share. Don't miss this desert as the cup and cover are made of Nutella.
Now folks, that is what I call an amazing Sunday breakfast.

A great cafe located very close to Band Stand, yet tucked away in a corner away from the noise and crowd.

Great place to grab a quick bite and superb coffee, though the first time I went there my friend had to ask to remake her chocolate drink as she could hardly taste any chocolate in it.

The croissants and French fries are amazing.

The receptionist staff are extremely attentive.

The outdoor seating is a great place to be during sunset and sea-breeze, though the wind can be a bit too strong if you are trying to light a cigarette.

The friendly neighborhood cat that saunters around is an added attraction.

The café also allows you to bring in your own pets.

If you’re strolling around Bandra Bandstand, Grounded is a cozy, aesthetic café perfect for a quick escape. The vibe is lively with both outdoor and indoor seating, though the music can be slightly loud at times. Their coconut latte and mocha frappe are refreshing highlights, while the nachos and avocado toast make for great, satisfying bites. The staff is warm and polite, but the serious is very slow but definitely a lovely spot to hang out and unwind.

If you’re wandering around Bandstand in Bandra and looking for a cozy spot to refuel, Grounded is a fantastic choice. The overall ambience is incredibly pleasant, making it a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of the promenade. The highlight of my visit was easily the Callebaut Hot Chocolate with whipped cream. It was absolutely delicious rich, velvety, and honestly one of the best hot chocolates I’ve ever had. To balance the indulgence, I tried the Healthy Chicken Ragi Wrap. It’s rare to find something that feels both nutritious and genuinely tasty, but this wrap nailed it. The staff also deserves a special shoutout; they were super polite, kind, and made the experience feel very welcoming. The only minor drawback was the music volume. It was a little loud for my taste, which made conversation a bit tricky at times. However, that’s a negligible part of an otherwise awesome experience. Between the quality of the food and the kindness of the team, I’ll definitely be back.
