George Mitron is a lovely place to hang out with friends and family. The ambience is vibrant, the food is delicious, DJ creates an amazing atmosphere with good nos. It’s the perfect spot to relax, enjoy great conversations, good vibes, and memorable evenings. Highly recommended!
Western food was good. Indian was below average. Vibe is fine. You can chat loud and clear. Usually no one is there in afternoon so yeah it feels like you own the whole place lmao. We spotted a cockroach though so yeah visit at your risk 🥰☺️
Near Asiatic Library in Fort, there’s a vintage bar and party spot tucked inside a 100+ year old heritage building, serving great food, solid drinks, and open till 1:30 AM.
Welcome to George. The music here leans into crowd favourite tracks with a strong Bollywood vibe, especially as the night sets in and the energy starts picking up.
The first floor is perfect for laid back scenes, come as you are, grab a drink, and ease into the evening with some good bar bites.
And if you’re planning to sit outside, this is the kind of view you’re signing up for.
Coming to the food, we tried a mix of their North Indian and Asian picks, and we’d definitely go back for the Fish Chilly, Murgh Musallam, and Murgh Methi Masala, plus we’re still thinking about their Herbal Passion.
Getting here is simple, take a right from Asiatic Library, park near the State Bank of India exit and it’s just a short walk ahead, right opposite the Carma Showroom.
This is George in South Mumbai, so next time you’re looking for a spot that gets the vibe, food and music just right, you know where to go.
Visited George Restaurant, Fort with my friends and had a great experience. We walked in without a prior reservation but were immediately accommodated, which was really nice. The vibe of the place is warm and cozy, making it a perfect spot to hang out and chill with friends. The ambiance gives you a beautiful feel of old Mumbai, which adds a special charm to the whole experience. Definitely a good place to relax and enjoy a casual evening.
The interiors are so well done. But their table system is biased on weekends. Exterior table seating has cover charge.
