Extremely disappointed with the lack of professionalism and communication. I placed an order with Gaurav Gupta and was promised a trial on 8th January by the sales representative, Vinny. The order sheet clearly mentioned the committed delivery/trial date, which I am attaching here for reference.
Despite this, the date was changed multiple times—from 8th January to 16th, then 17th, and now 18th January—without any prior intimation. I was informed only after repeatedly following up and asking for updates myself.
To make matters worse, I am now being told that there will be no trial at all and only a direct fitting, which was never communicated at the time of placing the order and is not what was agreed upon.
For a designer brand of this stature, such repeated changes, lack of transparency, and poor customer communication are unacceptable. Commitments mentioned on official order documents should be honoured.
Deserves a negative rating.. So my sister ordered a sage gold outfit for her Sangeet and they goofed up and made it in white. After a lot of to and fro for days, they agreed to redo the piece and deliver in another month. Comes a day before the trial, they request for 2 more days. We agree to go to Delhi and try. And guess what, a day before that they are asking for 4 more days. This is literally a week before the wedding!!
No so called 'couture' designers have such terrible service. This girl called 'Sanjana' handles the client and she just forgot to mention the colour!! The designs are fab but if you don't get your piece for your big day, what's the point?! I'd sincerely suggest to go to many other designers and stay away from GG
Fyi. We had ordered the piece at least 4 months before the event and this is what we got!! This deserves a -10. If these guys are so not serious, they should reconsider if they even want to be a part of the business
I usually never post things like this, but as a serious buyer, I feel this needs to be said.
I had reached out to the Gaurav Gupta team two weeks ago, genuinely interested in purchasing a tuxedo. Despite following up multiple times over call and WhatsApp, I received no response regarding the price or timeline.
Today, I was shocked to receive an aggressive, inappropriate reply asking, “Are you on drugs or what?” simply for asking for a basic update.
As someone from the fashion industry, I know the value of good service. This kind of unprofessional and disrespectful behaviour is unacceptable, especially from a brand of such repute.
Sharing this so others are aware of what to expect.
I’m really disappointed with the service at this store. The staff seemed completely uninterested and unwilling to assist. The lady who attended to us made no effort to help us choose, and every question felt like a burden to her. Compared to the excellent service I’ve received at Peacock, Sabya, and other stores where I’ve purchased outfits, this experience was underwhelming. I won’t be returning, nor would I recommend this store, purely because of the poor staff attitude.
Monika was great with the entire experience to help get the most stunning reception piece for me. She was patient and great with communication and delivery. 10/10 recommend asking for her!
