The best chest physician in whole of India! My mom couldn’t be diagnosed correctly by many senior physician until she saw Dr Singhania.
Dr Singhania not only treated her for the severe asthma but also identified other issues that were contributing towards deterioration of her quality of life. Since then, all of our extended family and friends have been seeing Dr Singhnia. We wish him and his team all the very best🙏🏽
We consulted Dr. Sumeet Singhania twice online and later in person at Kokilaben Hospital, Mumbai, after traveling all the way from a different country with high hopes for a thorough and professional evaluation of my mother’s lung condition. Unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing.
During our face-to-face consultation, the doctor appeared rushed and did not spend adequate time understanding the case in depth. His approach felt transactional, as though the goal was to move quickly through patients rather than provide genuine care. Despite our concerns, he simply prescribed medication and told us to return after six weeks.
After completing the CT scan, we expected a detailed review of the results. Instead, he gave us a mixed and superficial diagnosis, saying that infections could “come and go.” What he failed to mention and what we later learned through a second opinion at Nanavati Hospital was that the CT scan clearly showed a cavity in the lungs requiring surgical intervention for long-term treatment and prevention. This critical detail was completely overlooked and never communicated to us by Dr Sumeet.
Adding to the disappointment, during the follow-up he remarked that the visit was “free,” implying he was doing us a favor. This was inappropriate, given that follow-up consultation is part of the hospital’s policy and not a personal concession.
It was disheartening to feel dismissed in such a serious medical matter, especially after traveling internationally to seek specialized care. Based on our experience, Dr. Sumeet Singhania did not demonstrate the level of thoroughness, compassion and professionalism one would expect from such a hospital with a big name! Based on this experience, I would strongly advise others to seek a second opinion to ensure they receive the attention and clarity every patient deserves.
Dr Singhania is good as a Dr for diagnosis but extremely rude and I'll mannered....he needs to learn some soft skills....tired all the time and doesn't make a patient feel comfortable.
I wish I knew it earlier...not happy
Dr. Singhania is a compassionate and highly knowledgeable doctor. His approach is meticulous and cautious which is very comforting. We are extremely grateful to him and his team for their time and hard work.
Dr. Sumeet is a gem of a person and an equally gem of a doctor. He is very thorough and knowledgeable in his field. He is an asset to Kolikaben Hospital. He was able to diagnose a rare genetic disorder in a 7 year old kid who was suffering with chronic cough for many years since childhood and the child is well and thriving now thanks to his treatment.I would highly recommend him.
