I am blessed to have received treatment from Dr Shyam Varma. He is an expert, explained me about the causes, identified the exact location, size and operated. He was personally there at the operation theatre on both occasions of surgery and stent removal. Post operation care, medicines and a clear communication has removed the stones and I am perfectly alright going to office everyday. I come in with severe ureteral strictures and I had an amazing consultation with Dr. Shyam Varma. From the booking to seeing the doctor, the process was smooth. He was a fantastic diagnostician and he took time to explain my options multiple times. Throughout the process he was extremely confident, well-spoken and articulate and made immediate decisions despite my complex need of reconstructive surgery that required precision skills, multiple steps, specialized equipment and advanced anesthesia.

In the end, I was admitted for left renal autotransplant /boari flap surgery where my renal function has been preserved. I have been in hospital for only 8 days and recovery afterwards was smooth and easy. He often explained the healing process and he followed up personally offering comprehensive care.

He is an exceptional, compassionate and attentive surgeon and the prescription process is fast. The entire team under him (medical assistants and coordinator) were wonderful, making the stressful situation manageable. I consulted Dr. Shyam Varma after a small complex cyst was incidentally detected during a routine USG, despite having no symptoms. Although one of the surgeons suggested monitoring it due to its small size, I decided to proceed with surgery after meeting Dr. Varma. He recommended a robotic assisted laparoscopic procedure.

I was initially skeptical about undergoing surgery because of a previous major abdominal surgery, which made this case slightly more complex. However, the surgery was performed meticulously by Dr. Varma and his team, and my recovery was quick and smooth.
