Dr. Roy Patankar is kind and friendly in his approach. However, our experience was not satisfactory. He appeared to review patient history and reports very quickly, without giving detailed attention to my mother’s condition.

The main issue was severe constipation with hard, stone-like stool impacted inside, which was not identified during our consultation. She was advised to undergo certain tests and was later suggested laparoscopic ventral mesh rectopexy surgery.

Later, another doctor correctly diagnosed the problem as stool impaction due to chronic constipation and treated it successfully within just two days. My mother is now completely fit and fine.

Based on our experience, I strongly recommend taking three to four medical opinions before proceeding with any major treatment or surgery.

A Disappointing Experience with Dr. Roy Patankar's Fissure Surgery

I'm writing this review to share my extremely disappointing experience with Dr. Roy Patankar's hospital regarding my daughter's fissure surgery, which was done 6 months ago. Despite multiple follow-ups, we are yet to see any significant improvement in her condition.

The surgery was performed 6 months ago, and shockingly, the doctor didn't even check her for over 3 months post-surgery. His assistant doctor wasn't helpful either. When we finally got an appointment with Dr. Patankar after 3 months, we waited for 4 hours outside the OPD, only to have a 5-minute consultation.

The lack of care and concern for patients is appalling. It's clear that the hospital is more interested in making money than providing quality care. My daughter is still experiencing pain and is on medication, and it's affecting her daily routine and mental health.
My daughter is still suffering, and it's heartbreaking to see her like this. I urge others to stay away from this hospital and find a better doctor who genuinely cares about their patients.

Dr. Roy and Zen Hospital are extremely irresponsible and careless toward patients. We visited the hospital for my mother’s treatment while she was in pain. The staff only noted the history, and when Dr. Roy came, he did not properly ask about her current problem or pain.

Dr. Roy did not examine my mother properly. He only read the previous notes, prescribed medicines, and left without understanding or discussing the actual issue. There was no proper diagnosis, explanation, or concern shown toward the patient.

Despite visiting multiple times within the same week, the hospital charged the full consultation amount every visit. This behavior is highly unprofessional and feels unethical.

This experience was very disappointing and pathetic. Patient care and pain management were completely ignored.

I am sharing this experience on all platforms (Twitter, Facebook, and Google) to make others aware.
I do NOT recommend Dr. Roy or Zen Hospital to anyone.
