My mother suddenly developed severe breathlessness and had to be admitted urgently after her ECG indicated a serious cardiac concern. Initially, we admitted her to a local cardiac hospital, where she was placed on a non-invasive ventilator and advised immediate angiography. Post-angiography, we were informed that she had multiple blockages requiring urgent bypass surgery, and were advised to shift her to a larger hospital for further management.
Given our family’s positive experience Dt Kahale in the past, we reached out to him, who immediately asked us to transfer her. From the very moment she arrived at Kokilaben, he personally attended to her and took complete charge of her treatment with remarkable clarity and reassurance.
What truly stood out was his holistic approach. My mother is a high diabetic patient and often feels extremely hungry, which was causing her distress and main cause of her ailment. Dr. Kahale immediately understood this concern and ensured that her diabetes management was addressed. I initially had apprehensions about this as he is a cardiologist & how would he manage her diabetes but within just four days of hospitalization, we saw a remarkable improvement in her overall health and diabetic control.
Unlike many doctors who tend to prolong hospital stays or rush toward invasive procedures, Dr. Kahale focused on stabilizing her condition first and ensured she had a comfortable and efficient recovery period. He guided us honestly regarding treatment options and did not push for unnecessary procedures. Despite multiple blockages, he carefully evaluated her overall health and clearly explained why bypass surgery or stenting was not immediately suitable, always prioritizing her safety above everything else.
Another aspect we deeply appreciate is his accessibility. Cardiology consultations often involve long waiting periods for appointments, but Dr. Kahale makes every effort to accommodate patients whenever genuinely required, even allowing walk-in consultations when the situation demands urgent attention. It has now been over two months since her discharge on 7th January, and under his continued follow-up care, my mother is doing significantly better & her diabetes which in 8 years wasn't controlled is controlled now.
