We recently got cataract surgery done for both of my mother’s eyes under the care of Dr. Prathamesh, and our experience has been excellent from start to finish.

What stood out the most was the personal attention provided by Dr. Prathamesh himself. He conducted all the pre-surgery consultations, diagnostic tests, and eye examinations personally, taking the time to explain every aspect of the procedure, the expected outcomes, and the available lens options. We were guided through the differences between Indian and international lenses, along with the associated costs, enabling us to make an informed decision.

My mother was made to feel extremely comfortable throughout the entire process. During the first surgery (left eye), Dr. Prathamesh was reassuring, patient, and caring, which greatly reduced her anxiety. The surgery went smoothly, and the post-operative care was equally impressive. Follow-up appointments were scheduled promptly, and every stage of recovery was explained clearly.

The clinic staff and assistants deserve special mention as well. They are warm, courteous, well-spoken, and always willing to help, making the overall experience very pleasant.

Given the excellent results from the first surgery, we proceeded with the cataract surgery for her right eye just two weeks later. The outcome has been fantastic, and my mother is extremely happy with her vision and recovery.

After researching several options, I can confidently say that choosing Dr. Prathamesh was absolutely the right decision. Not only did we receive highly personalized care and attention, but the treatment was also very economical compared to many other places we evaluated, without any compromise on quality.

I was referred to Dr. Prathmesh Mehta by Dr. Sayali Tendolkar, who is my cousin’s daughter-in-law. Dr. Mehta performed both of my cataract surgeries. He is a compassionate and reassuring physician. Throughout the procedures, he engaged in conversation with me, complemented by soothing background music, which greatly contributed to my relaxation. His YouTube patient-education series is highly informative and presented in an accessible manner.
The reception staff, comprising a young lady and a young gentleman, are exceedingly courteous. They ensure patient comfort during the administration of eye drops and promptly provide clear, straightforward instructions regarding the drops and billing procedures.
I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Prathmesh Mehta for ophthalmic treatments.

I visited precision eye hospital for check up of my eyes. But i found that the doctor lacked transparency and professionalism. He did not disclose the charges upfront for an ultrasound eye scan and later charged 3200/- which I found unreasonable. Also he suggested for a cataract surgery but when I disclosed that I would like to get treatment at a tie up hospital of my organisation his behaviour changed and he made some eye contact to his assistant to charge us more since we are not a returning customer and may not get surgery done at his clinic. Very unprofessional behaviour

It was a wonderful experience beginning with the reception girl Kum. Kalpita, who made us comfortable. We have been visiting Dr Prathamesh since many years for consultation as well as cataract surgery. I recommended his consultation to many of friends & relatives. They have also been very happy.
