I recently had an ACL reconstruction & meniscectomy surgery. Right from my first interaction with Dr. Onkar he made he feel very at ease. He is patient & kind and took care to answer all my questions pre surgery, during surgery and post-surgery. He thoroughly explained the entire process, the implications & the way forward, even during the surgery he made me feel very comfortable. When I was in the hospital he visited daily and spoke to me with clarity and honest collaboration. He was also very responsive whenever I pinged him/ called him . Overall his treatment & care was excellent, I am now 5 weeks post op and back on my feet feeling stronger. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone, you will be in good hands
My name is Sushil Sadashiv Jangam. I started experiencing a locking sensation in my leg while sitting and standing, along with pain at the back of my knee. On my doctor’s advice, I got an MRI done, which revealed a ligament tear. It was quite severe, leaving surgery as the only option.
I went to Dr. Kulkarni for a second opinion regarding my ACL surgery—whether I should go ahead with it or not. He explained everything so calmly and confidently, assuring me not to worry and that I wouldn’t even realize when the surgery would be done, and that the recovery would be quick.
And exactly that happened—I didn’t feel anything during the operation, and from the very next day, the doctor encouraged me to start walking. Within just a month, I was able to go for walks like before.
Thanks to Dr. Kulkarni, I gained the confidence to undergo the surgery, and because of him, I am now able to live my life normally again.

Hello everyone. My name is Sarjerao. We had a very great experience of Dr. Onkar Kulkarni Sir today. He is not only a very excellent doctor but a very great person also. I would like to thank doctor Onkar from the bottom of my heart because of his timely access and expert advice on sunday. My wife got injured at her right elbow on sunday morning and it was paining very badly. We were worried as no doctor were available on sunday in our nearby area like Santacruz, Khar, Bandra area. We had doubt that it might be a fracture. After lot of try we got number of Dr. Onkar and fortunately Dr. Onkar picked up the call and immediately gave his appointment on same day evening. It was really great experience with Dr. Onkar. He first checked injury thoroughly and thereafter suggested X ray to confirm cause of pain. Immediately he did x-ray within 15 minutes and after very careful study he confirmed about no reason to worry and gave some medicine. While leaving he assured that in case any emergency we can drop a message. Im staying in Mumbai in last 10 years but I never seen such a great and supportive doctor in Mumbai. Because of only such few great and noble doctors like Onkar, as a common patient our faith in Doctor community increases. I had an unfortunate accident late at night and broke my wrist. With most clinics closed and no idea where to go, I turned to Google for help and came across Dr. Kulkarni. I called him without much hope, but to my surprise, he picked up right away and arranged an immediate appointment and X-ray at the nearest hospital.
He diagnosed my injury and applied a cast the very next day. Throughout my recovery, Dr. Kulkarni was incredibly supportive, responsive, and easy to reach for any questions or concerns. His expertise and approachable manner made the entire recovery process smooth and reassuring.
