This was my first visit to agrawal heart care clinic for a stress test . I was a bit nervous about the procedure but the technician staff is very good and polite, she explain me very well and test was conducted smoothly. Great first experience.
Had a great experience with the cardiac checkup and testing process. It was smooth ,and I feel satisfied with the care i received..
He was a little dismissive and rushed towards my concerns, and just wanted to get done with the consultation quickly. Not a good experience.
I had a very disappointing experience with this doctor. I took my mother for a consultation after her triglyceride levels were found to be high (above 500). All her other reports — including 2D Echo, ECG, and blood tests — were normal. Since she has an upcoming ear surgery in 15 days, we wanted to consult the doctor to ensure everything was okay and to get some proper medical advice.
However, the doctor was extremely rushed and spent only about 6–7 minutes with us. Even during that time, staff members were walking in and out of the consultation room, which felt unprofessional and disrespectful. The doctor barely listened to our concerns, didn’t look at us while speaking, and was very rude in his tone.
My mother was already anxious due to the high triglyceride level and her medical history, but instead of calming her, the doctor increased her fear. Despite all her other tests being normal, he immediately suggested angiography and said, “If she gets scared during the ear operation, anything can happen.” When we politely asked for clarification, he simply said, “I have other patients waiting,” and responded rudely. We also asked for dietary advice, and he didn’t provide any guidance at all.
As patients, we don’t just come for treatment — we also look for support and reassurance, especially from a senior heart specialist. We expected empathy and proper communication, but sadly, we experienced the opposite. Telling the truth is important, but how it’s delivered makes a big difference.
Please treat patients with compassion. A few kind words from an experienced doctor can make a huge difference to someone who is already worried.
Dear All,
Iam a Civil Engineer professional and working with one of the top most construction company in India.
As per company policy, I was asked to undergo a medical checkup referred by the company. These medical checkups are in the panel of the company and I got my tests done from one of the reputed Health experts in Navi Mumbai.
Unfortunately the result turned out to be shocking and a heart blockage was detected. Being a sports athlete, I couldn't digest the scenario and was shocked & totally devastated.
I was asked to redo the medical test on my own expenditure and confirm to my client if Iam fit for the company.
I happened to call many cardiologists and was lucky enough to get in touch with Dr. BRIJESH AGRAWAL - Cardiologist, Interventional Cardiologist.
Thanks to Ms. Sonal from the receptionist who helped me with booking the appointment on the spot and solved all my queries. I asked her many questions with respect to the tests done, experience of the doctor, fees etc. I found her professional, smart and quick which made me very comfortable.
Dr. Brijesh Agrawal heart clinic is in Chembur above Malhar Hotel. It was crowded with patients but we were taken inside at the right time slot. inshort, we didn't have to wait for hours like I did in my previous health checkup experience.
Dr. Agrawal is a very knowledgeable and down to earth person. He is 40+ years old and an interventional cardiologist with more than 15 to 20 years of experience in cardiology, but looks like a teenager :)
He saw all my old reports (2 days old report which shows blockage) and asked me to do a 2D EchoCardiography and Tread mill test.
With the blessings of God, Iam perfectly alright and the previous report turned out to be wrong.
Dr. Brijesh Agrawal explained in detail about Heart functions, how 2D EchoCardiography would be carried out and I was in total ease before entering the 2D room.
The room was very neat and clean and the equipment looked to be of latest make. I was asked to lay on one side and then a colourless gel was applied to the chest area. Then Dr. Agrawal moved the transducer across the various parts of his chest to get specific/desired views of the heart.
I was happy to see that he was doing it personally and was not dependent on any technician to do it for him.
After 2D Echo I was asked to do Treadmill test wherein I was asked to walk on a treadmill for say 5 minutes.
Before getting onto the treadmill Ms. Sonal and Sister Shivani briefed me how tests would be done and asked me to change the shirt so that the small, flat, sticky white patch can be put on the chest and then electrodes / wire were attached to them. They'll be attached to an electrocardiogram monitor -- called an EKG - that charts your heart's electrical activity during the test.
Within 15 minutes of both the tests being done, I again met Dr. Agrawal with the reports where he declared me fit and fine. He gave me a fitness certificate which I shall be submitting to my new company !
I was very happy with the service and appreciated the time he gave me and my mother. He explained the entire process of Heart function and was always smiling.
Once again thank you very much Dr. Brijesh Agrwal. I Am very thankful for a quick check up and detailed explanation.
P.s - Incase someone is looking for a good Gynecologist, then I would also suggest to check with Dr. Pradnya Supe who sits in the same clinic.
Regards,
