This is so apt for Dr. Biswa Ranjan Patra, a noble messiah to the medical (gastroenterology) field. My spouse was under his care as we rushed on a medical emergency.

To begin with, the first thing which touched us was his responsive nature,despite his busy schedule, that helped us get admitted to Reliance hospital, when my husband was in a scary condition.Although he had left for the day, he ensured smooth admission and had briefed his team well to manage the situation and the team did a good job. All this happened late night and as per his instructions, his team got my husband ready for the procedure which happened immediately the next day. Perfect leadership!!

Just before the procedure, there were a team of doctors like the general physician, an anaesthesiologist etc to assess his and understand his condition and we were detailing them on all the queries that they had. So when Dr. Biswa visited and introduced himself, I was taken aback. It took five seconds for me to collect myself to digest that I am meeting Dr. Biswa. Every word he spoke was crisp, to the point and above all very clear. He answered every query that we both had with extreme patience and reflected his total command on his work. A young doctor with so much in-depth knowledge. This is why I was stumped.
