10-Day Vipassana Course — Successfully Completed 🧘♂️✨
A journey of silence, discipline, and deep self-discovery.
I usually do not write reviews, but this experience was so unpleasant and unfair that I feel compelled to share it here.
I am a Vipassana practitioner myself and am well aware of the foundation and values of Vipassana meditation. Through my journey, my parents were deeply inspired and they too became Vipassana practitioners. My mother, though not formally educated and not employed with any organisation, has been sincerely practicing Vipassana and has also offered seva, including at teenage courses, which I believe requires great dedication and sensitivity.
I had registered my mother for a 10-day Vipassana course at Dhamma Vipula well in advance, right when the application process opened. I followed up multiple times through phone calls and emails, clearly explaining our situation — that my mother could attend only in December as I have a small baby and would be staying with my parents during that time.
Despite all this, the Dhamma Vipula management rejected her application just one day before the course began. When I asked for the reason, I was shocked to be told that Dhamma Vipula is a centre reserved exclusively for educated people. This response felt deeply biased and completely against the teachings of Goenkaji, where Vipassana is meant to be open to all, irrespective of education, background, or social status.
This centre was the most convenient option for my mother to travel to independently while balancing her responsibilities. The rejection and the reasoning given left her extremely hurt and discouraged, to the extent that she is now unwilling to continue her Vipassana practice.
This experience was truly disappointing and painful for our family, especially coming from a meditation tradition that stands for equality, compassion, and inclusiveness.
I recently attended the Vipsana course at Dhamma Vipula it’s a life changing experience one should really look forward if they want to embrace the inner solitude and connect with self. It gives you a great shift about what life actually is.
Coming to centre it’s really a well managed and clean centre. Management is very helpful and address all your doubts. Food and accommodations are very good. There is a wide spread of healthy food and satvik.
I will highly recommend to experience this mediation one in lifetime 🧘♀️☺️
I attended the Vipassana course at Dhamma Vipula Meditation Centre from 25th June to 9th July, and I can honestly say — it was a life-changing experience.
The centre is peaceful, disciplined, and very well-maintained. The environment is perfect for deep meditation and self-reflection. The daily schedule, food, and facilities are simple yet thoughtfully arranged to support the practice.
If you are truly looking for inner peace, mental clarity, and a break from the noise of everyday life — please go there at least once in your lifetime.
I highly recommend this centre to anyone seeking real growth and a stronger connection within.
Excellent campus ! Super clean which helps in your meditation consistency. Male walking area has more amazing view and the pegoda is quite a beauty.
