I booked Dev Mehendi Artist for my Mehendi function well in advance and discussed all the required details with Bobby about what package do I want - What design do I want - How much to agree on payment everything in very much detail. My only mistake was to not take it in writing or not record the call.
At first everything seemed fine and I was happy with the package and deal but on the day of Mehendi someone else came and they quoted a very high price for the design than what was previously discussed - It seemed like the staff was not informed or they collectively agreed that “this was not discussed” or something about the requirement and package was and we ended up paying more than what we agreed for because everyone knows nobody will disagree on the last moment.
I even called Bobby to confirm and he mentioned “we never spoke about this” this is where I knew I am never going back here no matter how good they are.
The design was fine but I recommend to take everything in writing while dealing with them. I was super excited about them at first but now I would never consider them in future.
I visited the Thane outlet on 12th December after seeing their Instagram page and reading several positive reviews.
**Pros:**
• A few mehndi artists are genuinely skilled and draw well.
**Cons:**
• Unfortunately, the shop has more unprofessional staff than experienced artists. Two very young boys applied mehndi on my hands; I even recall one of them being referred to by the staff as “Mowgli.” The lack of professionalism was shocking, especially since I was there for my baby shower mehndi. I felt instant regret trusting them for such an important occasion.
• Pricing is unreasonably high and inconsistent. I initially asked only for a simple mandala design on both hands and was quoted ₹800. However, once they learned it was for my baby shower, the price was increased by 1.5x, despite the poor-quality design and unprofessional behaviour.

I booked Suraj and Ajay for my mehendi day. They both came on time, the designs and figure made on mehendi were top notch. Im really happy with my mehendi.
