Visited Delhi Darbar, Colaba recently. The non-vegetarian food lived up to its reputation – flavorful, well-cooked, and definitely the highlight of the meal. The portions were good, and the dishes were rich in taste.

However, the vegetarian food was quite disappointing.

The service and ambience were decent, but as someone dining with both vegetarians and non-vegetarians, the experience felt a bit unbalanced.

A good choice for non-veg lovers, but vegetarians pls give a skip.

A wholesome meal for 3 of us costed approx Rs. 1200.... And that too in this locality of Mumbai. the quality and the quantity also backs it up. Earlier,i have seen long queues during dinner time infront of this eatery and wondered why is this rush all time time.but now I know.superb hospitality , chilling AC . The waiting thing is also being nicely managed by the hotel staffs. Swift service. The non veg portions are quite plentiful,so do consider this before ordering.parkingbis definitely a challenge in this area. So suggest u all to look for other alternatives while coming here.

Located at Colaba Causeway, this mughlai place is a pretty old and one of the legendary eateries which the city has to offer

The place has a royal ambiance but i believe they are definitely in a need of upgrade now.. especially the upper floors. The service is good.. initially it took a while for them to serve us as there was a huge corporate group having their party but once they had their attention to us.. they made sure that we are served well!

We went there for lunch, we ordered:
1) Roomali Roti: The roti was literally soft like a cushion and melts in your mouth, this is one of the best Roomali roti I have ever had.

2) Chicken Bhuna: Made on tawa, this boneless chicken bhuna was actually delicious. Chicken cooked was soft and melting in my mouth whereas the masala had right amount of spices to it and wasn't spicy which was to my liking!

3) Chicken Tikka Biryani: Usually the highlight of the restaurant, but to my surprise the biryani was better than what I had 1.5 years ago as it seems their chef has changed. The last time when I had it, the chicken was really dry and had been marinated in red color.. though it was charred well but was too dry! Whereas this time the tikka was properly marinated and grilled to the right amount leaving the chicken juicy and tender. The quantity served was good too. The rice i believe could have been more fluffier.

4) Sweet Fresh lime soda: The lemon concentrate at the bottom mixed with sugar and added soda.. mixed well.. definitely was refreshing but i wish they could add the fresh lemon juice for better taste.

Overall, a good place to have your fulfilling dinner.. the place had originally introduced to me by my mother.. though it might have changed over the time but still manages to have the same pull!

My first meal during my visit to Mumbai. Beautiful ambience and food was delicious. Ordered naan with kebabs and Firni among many. Service was quick and staff made the ambience very comfortable. Food pricing not high. Overall a very pleasant experience. There is no parking specifically for the restaurant.

Amazing biryani. We went here after hearing it's meant to be the best biryani in mumbai. We ordered a mutton biryani, prawn shahi biryani, papad and a mutton cutlet. But they told us the prawn shahi was out so we got the normal prawn biryani.

We were seated as soon as we arrived. Another family was seated around the same time on a dirty table. We ordered and a few minutes later. That table were upset that their table wasn't cleaned and they weren't served yet. So there was an argument between them and a staff member that could be heard across the dining room.

The food came quickly. My father in law asked for a side of chillis but it never came even though we heard the waiter remind another waiter. At the end when I went to pay the waiter assumed I couldn't understand him and wrote tip at the end of the bill. Kept insisting on a tip even though he wasn't the one who served us. And I would normally leave a tip but due to the pushing and rudenss I didn't.

Although food came quickly we had to keep asking to order. The food came and we had no service apart from this. Although staff were intentive they lacked friendlyness

The food was amazing best biryani I've had from my visits in India. But the staff need work on their customer service.
