Extremely Unprofessional - Avoid Deccan Clap (Estimation #1989)
I booked epoxy waterproofing for 4 washrooms based on Sales Manager Sarika’s assurance that they use full-time employees. This turned out to be false. My experience was a disaster from start to finish:
Payment & Delay Issues: Workers arrived at 2:30 PM and refused to start until I paid the company upfront so they could get their cut. I waited 2 hours at the site just for the company to transfer money to their own workers.
Poor Workmanship: Because of the delay, they rushed the job to get to another client. They did not remove the old grout and applied a very thin layer of epoxy.
The Mess: My tiles are now covered in epoxy stains and look "ugly" (photos attached). No post-job cleanup was done despite promises.
Unethical Behavior: The workers admitted they are contractors and even tried to solicit me for direct work behind the company’s back.
Management Failure: * Manoj (Field Manager): Refused to take calls; only responded via WhatsApp. He eventually told me he would only send someone to fix the mess if I gave them more work. * Arshed (Regional Manager): Promised a cleanup crew but never followed through.
Jani Basha (Operations Head): Completely ghosted all communications in the group and via phone.
Bottom Line: This company uses deceptive sales tactics, has zero control over its contractors, and the management team ignores customers once they have your money. Do not trust them with your home.
Our staircase walls were painted beautifully by Deccan Clap. Cracks were sealed before painting. Proper primer ensured better finish. The final result looks clean and elegant. Cleanup was handled well. Great service.
