Very disappointing first interaction with Casa Bambino Montessori.
I contacted the school as a French parent newly arrived in Mumbai, looking for a Montessori environment for my 4-year-old son, who had previously attended a Montessori school in Paris. I wrote a detailed and respectful admission inquiry, asking about availability and information.
The response I received was extremely cold and abrupt: simply that there was no vacancy and therefore admission could not be granted. No brochure, no explanation, no waiting list option, no call, no alternative suggestion, no warmth whatsoever.
For a school working with very young children, I find this kind of communication quite revealing. A school’s first interaction with a parent says a lot about its culture, professionalism, and emotional sensitivity.
By comparison, other international schools in Mumbai and Bandra, even when full, took the time to call, explain, suggest options, and treat the family with respect.
For parents looking for a warm, emotionally safe, child-centered environment, I would strongly recommend paying attention not only to online reviews, but also to how the school communicates with you from the very first contact.
Based on my experience, I did not feel any warmth, care, or professionalism in the admissions response.
My daughter has been going to Casa bambino since she was 2 years old .I have seen her growing into an independent n confident girl .A big thank to teachers for providing the care, nurturing space to her .! This school will always hold a special place.
We are very happy with Casa Bambino Montessori School. The teachers are loving, patient, and truly supportive. We have seen great positive changes in our son’s confidence and independence. It’s a wonderful place for early learning. Highly recommended.

Casa Bambino Montessori School laid the perfect foundation for my daughter, Durveka. One thing I really appreciated were all of the wonderful activities the teachers thought of to make learning fun. Beautiful pictures were shared with us often and teachers kept us updated with monthly detailing of all the learning that was happening in the classroom. The teachers Renu Aunty & Jesal Aunty, created a warm and rich educational environment. My daughter was greeted everyday with a smile and was excited about going to school. Upon pick up she would tell me about all of the wonderful toys she played with, the songs she sang and the books that were read aloud. If she was having a difficult transition they would always help her with a warm smile and check in with me as needed. I highly recommend Casa Bambino Montessori School, it is truly a gem of a school. My daughter learned phonics, number recognition, vowels, nursery rhymes & stories with such ease. I feel very proud and smile with joy to hear her speak in English. I am happy that Durveka will begin her new journey at JBCN International School.
