Excellent Maternity Services at Carewel Hospital - Best Gynecologist Dr. Vaishali Ghiya
I have been visiting Carewel Hospital since the end of April 2025 for my first baby’s delivery. During the second to fourth months of my pregnancy, I experienced certain complications. However, the excellent care and guidance provided by Gynecologist Dr. Vaishali Ghiya, along with the dedicated and experienced nurses and support staff, my pregnancy journey was smooth and reassuring. Their continuous support helped me remain calm and ultimately proceed with a normal delivery.
I would highly recommend Carewel Hospital to all expectant mothers and encourage them to experience the quality of care and services firsthand
Outside India currently and had my wife visit her clinic as she is currently pregnant. She had the most disturbing experience speaking with Dr. Vaishali Ghiya, the primary obstetrician at Carewel.
We had first visited Carewel 3 years ago for our first child. For the delivery, however, I had to take my wife to the hospital at 3 AM and there was no transport available. So we decided to go to the second hospital that we had registered in which was closer to where we live.
My wife had the Carewel file from her previous pregnancy which she carried with her yesterday while visiting Carewel hospital. Dr Vaishali Ghiya was clearly upset that we chose to go to the second hospital on our list last time.
She made so many nasty comments that my wife almost cried. It's a shame that someone so educated has such a vile tongue. Some of the comments that she made are:
1. You guys are so poor. Maybe you cannot afford treatment here.
2. You should go to a government hospital
3. I will charge Rs 1500 to give an IV. Can you afford that? Should I start the treatment?
4. Why did you come here now? Why didn’t you go to the second hospital? Did something go wrong there?
5. Why are you coming when you are so far along?
6. There are two medicines, one for 1800, one for 2400 which one can you afford?
My wife and MIL, being kind and reserved, took these comments in silence. But is this any way for a doctor to talk to the patients? What kind of an example does it set for those working under her? Will nurses and wardboys also have the same attitude when a patient is admitted?
For perspective, my wife and I have a combined income of over 36LPA and, if we wanted, we could go to the most expensive hospital in Mumbai. We are shocked to see such an attitude from a doctor that treats women when they are at their most vulnerable. Honestly, I think we dodged a bullet here.
The irony is that my modestly dressed wife and I could pay for 12 deliveries at Carewel and still have money left over from our monthly income.
I am writing to express my sincere appreciation and gratitude regarding Carewel hospital and Dr. Vaishali & her team (nurses and support staff) for their outstanding care and dedication.
The professionalism, compassion, and commitment shown by your staff truly made a meaningful difference. The doctors demonstrated exceptional expertise and patience, while the nursing and support staff provided constant care, kindness, and reassurance. Their teamwork and positive attitude reflect the high standards of your institution.
Please convey my heartfelt thanks to everyone specially to Dr. Vaishali for their hard work and selfless service do not go unnoticed, and me and my entire family deeply grateful for the care and attention provided.
Thank you once again for your exceptional service to the community and surely will recommend to all.
I am Ishwari Yogesh Chavan, and I want to share my genuine experience with this hospital. Both of my deliveries took place here, and both turned into smooth normal deliveries only because of the incredible support I received from the entire team.
Dr. Vaishali Ma’am and Dr. Indrajit Sir are not just excellent doctors — they are truly caring human beings. In my moments of fear and doubt, they supported me like parents, guided me with patience, and gave me strength when I felt I had none.
The nurses and maushis were incredibly caring, making me feel completely comfortable throughout my stay.
No amount of praise is enough for this team. They gave me the biggest joys of my life with complete safety, confidence, and positivity.
Thank you to each and every member of the hospital for making both my delivery experiences so beautiful and memorable. I will always be grateful.
My heartfelt thanks once again to Dr. Vaishali Ma’am and Dr. Indrajit Sir for giving me such a beautiful and comforting experience.”
I recently delivered my baby at Carewel Hospital, and I’m extremely happy with my experience. The doctors, nurses, and entire staff were very supportive and caring throughout my stay. From the moment I was admitted until discharge, the staff made sure I was comfortable and calm. My gynaecologist, Dr. Vaishali, made me feel comfortable and confident during the delivery process. The facilities were clean, well-maintained, and the nursing team was always available whenever I needed help. They guided me through every step, encouraged me when I was nervous. The way they handled both me and my baby with care was truly commendable. It was a beautiful and unforgettable experience. Forever grateful!
