This place stands out with its unconventional concept of combining a library and café, creating a cozy and relaxed vibe that’s perfect for unwinding. It’s easy to locate and has a warm, inviting atmosphere. The Nutella melted pancakes are a highlight—not just delicious but also creatively presented in cute shapes. The Malta Mojito is refreshing, and the Café Bonbon is definitely worth trying. The toasted garlic bread, however, is skippable. The space isn’t ideal for large groups, but it’s a great spot for a quick outing. Overall, definitely recommended for a visit.
First of all, gratitude to the owner for working towards the development of the society. I have also read your personal journey, and it is truly inspiring to see where you started and what you have built today.
However, I would like to share my honest feedback about the food quality and service, which was disappointing during our visit.
I ordered a coffee, but it was not hot. I finished it quietly without creating any issue; you may even check the CCTV if required. However, proper serving temperature should be ensured.
We ordered a chicken omelette with cheese, but honestly, it was difficult to find the chicken in it. Initially, I thought there might be chunks inside, but there were no visible shreds or proper quantity. That was quite disappointing.
We also ordered nachni pancakes, and the dish was served with cold caramel sauce that seemed straight from the fridge.
Ideally, the server should inform whether the sauce will be served on the side or on top. Warm pancakes with apple and caramel sauce should not be cold, as it completely spoils the taste of the dish.
When the bill came, the lady at the counter suggested we need not pay due to the experience. However, we respect your effort and the noble work you are doing, so we chose to pay.
Sir, basic training for the chef and kitchen team is necessary. My child is autistic, and after waiting patiently for quite some time, receiving such food was disappointing for us. Eventually, we left the place dissatisfied.
I must mention that the server was good and well-trained, but he was slightly pushy while promoting initiatives. Sometimes this can irritate guests, so a balanced approach would help.
Please understand that we are genuine food lovers and not here to damage anyone’s reputation. We appreciate your noble work and truly hope you continue doing it. Just focus a little more on food quality, serving standards, and taste, and the place can become even better.

If you want, I can also create a shorter, sharper Google review (more impactful and slightly aggressive) which usually gets faster attention from restaurant management.
Brilliant place and a must visit if you are nearby! Was there for brunch on the LP/Lolla day, so was quite busy but I feel they managed it really well. Food and staff were both really good. Would definitely have gone back there if I had more time in Mumbai. Their back story is also very interesting, so do try and find out about that!
Bombay to Barcelona is a must-visit café if you’re in Mumbai!
The food here is amazing and the vibe is just perfect. Absolutely loved the paneer pesto sandwich and the coffees are really good too .
But the best thing above all? The staff and their service—truly top knotch.
If you’re here, don’t miss reading about the team and the owner who are building this beautiful place. Their story makes the experience even more special.
If I were to rate the cafe's concept, it would be a 5! But if you ask me about my overall experience, it will be strictly a 3.
The ambience is bang on perfect for hanging out with friends. There are books stacked like a mini library which you can read while you enjoy a bite. The food that we tried was so not great though. We tried:
•White sauce chicken pasta
•Chicken B2BLC sandwich
•Cold coffee with almond milk (of which the almond milk quantity was only available for 1 serve. Disappointing.)
•Cold coffee with hazelnut
•Paneer pesto crepe
•Chicken fingers
Overall, the pasta was the winner. It was cooked very well with the sauce tasting creamy and delicious. It was served with the normal bread cut into triangles and toasted. The sandwich size was quite huge with a good amount of filling. Not at all a fan of both the cold coffees - One with almond milk and the other with cow milk. The paneer pesto wrap didn’t have salt and the taste was quite off and not balanced. It’s supposed to be creamy but instead we could taste only the greens. It was a total letdown. The crepe covering was nice though but again what’s the point? Chicken fingers seemed a bit over-fried and stale served with a sauce (it was definitely not mayonnaise as told to us) which did not go well. We chose not to eat all 6 pieces as a result.
The service was alright. The server made a face when we could not finish everything on the plate and commented that it would be given to someone else. Now I understand that’s very noble of them to do that to prevent food wastage. I politely replied on the same lines with a smile. His tone seemed rude nor were there any other mannerisms leaving us baffled and uncomfortable.
Overall not a great experience and would skip returning.
