A Whimsical Twist on Nostalgia! 🍫🍧
Walking into Bombay Sweet Shop feels like stepping into a dessert paradise where traditional Indian flavors meet fun, modern updates. We dropped by for a massive tasting session and were completely hooked. On the savory side, the Avo Papdi Chaat and the vibrant Mango Burrata Papdi Chaat were incredible, creamy upgrades to classic street food. For desserts, the absolute highlight of the day was the Rasgulla Tiramisu. It’s a masterclass in fusion that blends velvety mascarpone with soft, syrupy rasgullas. The Coconut Chilli Mango Sundae was another winner; it had a super unique texture and a really creative mix of spicy, sweet, and tropical flavors that you just don't find anywhere else.
The drink game here is also top-tier. We sampled everything from a Vietnamese Cold Coffee and an Old School Cold Coffee to a customized Veronica’s Cold Coffee (which they perfectly made without their usual date syrup). We also tried their beautiful Iced Matcha Mango Latte with a touch of vanilla, which had a fantastic flavor balance. A huge bonus was the retail counter, where they let us try a bunch of house-made chocolates and snack mixes. I totally fell in love with the Tom Yum Makhana Mix. It’s a super unique, tangy, and zingy spin on a classic snack. This place is a must-visit!
Definitely catch their seasonal mango specials before they run out!
Nice place to squeeze into when wanting to cool yourself down with some goodness. Nolen Gurer ice cream with tiramisu was a suggestion from the manager and we went with it - did not disappoint at all!
Pani Puri was average but the vibe was good.
Please take time to come here and enjoy as service can get slow during peak hours - hoping to visit again soon!
The cafe itself.is slightlyntucked away from the lames of Kala Ghoda. The staff are friendly and helpful. The food is absolutely delicious. The Onion Kachori in Kadhi is the best dish I've had. Their menu is creatively designed and changes with the seasons. Their cold coffees, Kachori, Mango Milkshake and Mango Kalakand Cheesecake are must try!
Cute cafe that you should visit if you are in this part of the city. The ambience here is great and enjoyed very vibrant. There's 2 sections in the ground floor. One of which is the dining area and the other for walkin and takeaway customers.
There's a mezzanine floor as well for dining which we did not explore.
We ordered the gulab jamun churros, brown butter ice cream sandwich and cold coffee. Gulab jamun churros initially felt a wierd combination but it did surprise us as it tasted quite alright. The dishes here is a fusion and is a must have.
The Brown butter ice cream sandwich was the best. The ice cream here tasted good too
