I stopped by Bokka Coffee, Bandra twice on my Bombay trip and had two very different experiences. The first visit was excellent, the cold brew, truffle shroom dosa, and barbecue chicken dosa were all flavourful and well executed.
But on my second visit, although the cold brew remained solid, the chicken sausages, ham, and mushroom fell short. The quality just didn’t match what I’d expect from a café of this calibre. It felt like the ingredients weren’t up to the mark, which was disappointing after such a strong first impression.
Consistency would make a big difference here.
If you’re tired of the long wait times at Boojee Cafe, walk a few metres over to Bokka Coffee.
Honestly, the quality is just as competitive without the headache. We were a group of two and got seated immediately (luckily enough). The staff was incredibly responsive and attentive to us. I highly recommend the chocolate bowl if you want something indulgent, and the hibiscus iced tea is perfect for something refreshing.
It’s not "cheap," but it certainly won't burn a hole in your pocket—it’s priced just right for the experience.
Plus, the plant-filled, well-lit decor makes for a great atmosphere.
Definitely worth a visit.
Bokka is a nice option to try amongst the hundreds of other within the collection of cafes in Bandra
We ordered their Strawberry Matcha Oatie and Iced Mocha. Both were solid options (8.5/10) but I was left wanting for more after having their Matcha
Would definitely visit again to try their food offerings
Heard this is one of Shahid Kapoor’s favorite coffee spots, so decided to drop by and give it a try. Located in the busy lanes of Khar, the café thankfully offers valet parking, which is a big plus.
The space is cozy but quite compact, so some wait time is expected during rush hours. Seating can feel a bit close together, and note that laptops or tablets aren’t allowed, so it’s not a spot to work from. The ambiance is warm and inviting, filled with plants and soft lighting that adds to the charm.
Service was excellent — staff were attentive and quick to respond. Tried the iced Americano, which had a nice balance of flavor without being overly bitter. The Harvest Salad with salmon was fresh and generous in portion, and the Berry Bowl was naturally sweet with no added sugar.
Pricing is on par with other popular cafés in the area.
Overall, a great spot for coffee lovers and relaxed brunches, but not ideal if you’re looking to work.
The place was too congested for my comfort. And even though they have a wide range of a healthy menu, the taste was mid at best. The coffees were really good though.
