I recently stayed at Basera Dormitory, Marol for 2 nights, and I must say — it was one of the best budget-friendly Just 350 per night stays I’ve experienced in Mumbai. From the moment I checked in, everything was smooth, clean, and comfortable.
The rooms and dorms are spotless, perfectly maintained, and organized with proper ventilation and cozy bedding. The housekeeping staff deserve special mention — they ensure that every corner is clean and hygienic, which makes the stay extremely pleasant.
The washrooms are surprisingly well-maintained — neat, tidy, and always stocked with essentials. Hot water, clean towels, and proper sanitation were available throughout my stay, something that’s not easy to find in dorms at this price range.
The ambience is calm, peaceful, and safe — ideal for both solo travelers and working professionals. The staff were very polite, helpful, and always ready to assist with anything I needed.
The location is another big plus — conveniently situated near Marol Metro, with easy access to restaurants, shops, and public transport.
