Baba Falooda – Sitladevi Mandir Metro (Personal Review)
Rating: 2.5–3/5
What I liked:
Rich and generous faloodas loaded with rose syrup, sabja seeds, ice cream, kulfi pieces, and other toppings.
Fresh juices are decent.
The staff appear to make a sincere effort to maintain cleanliness despite being a roadside outlet.
Convenient if you're in the area and craving something cold and sweet.
What I didn't like:
No seating at all; everything is standing-room only.
Being a roadside stall, the entire preparation and serving area is exposed to traffic, dust, and pedestrians.
Presentation is basic—ingredients are packed into the glass without much finesse, and you practically have to "excavate" your falooda with a plastic spoon.
Prices are on the higher side (around ₹100+ per serving).
The constant presence of beggars approaching customers while they're eating can make the experience uncomfortable, especially when dining with a group.
Better alternatives nearby:
Badshah – Better ambience, seating, air-conditioned comfort, and a more enjoyable overall experience for falooda and cold beverages.
Gupta Kulfi Centre – Located opposite Baba Falooda, with air-conditioning and a more comfortable environment, even though space is limited.
Verdict: If you're thirsty and happen to be passing by, Baba Falooda can satisfy a craving for a rich, heavily loaded falooda. However, if comfort, ambience, presentation, and a relaxed experience matter to you, I'd personally choose Badshah ( Crawford market ) or the nearby Gupta Kulfi Centre instead.
"Good in an emergency, but not a destination I'd specifically visit for a falooda."
Baba Falooda is absolutely tasty! 🤤 Quick service and the taste is seriously 10/10. One cup was more than enough — super filling and satisfying. I highly recommend trying the Baba Special Falooda. Definitely worth it!
The baba special falooda was way too fantastic. Loved the taste 5/5 ⭐️🤩
We really enjoyed the taste and quality of every item we tried at this falooda shop. The flavors were rich and well-balanced, and the ingredients tasted fresh. The prices are quite reasonable by Mumbai standards, making it a great spot for a refreshing dessert treat. Definitely worth a visit!
This was our first visit to Baba Falooda, and it definitely lived up to the hype! We tried the Mango Falooda and the Baba Special Falooda, and both were absolutely amazing. The flavours were rich, the ingredients were fresh, and the overall taste was simply outstanding.
The portions were generous, offering great quality along with quantity—something that truly makes the experience worth it. Every bite felt satisfying and perfectly balanced.
The place also maintains good hygiene, which added to the comfort of our visit. The ambience is clean and pleasant, making it a great spot for families and dessert lovers.
Overall, a fantastic experience. If you’re a falooda fan or trying it for the first time, Baba Falooda is a must-visit! Highly recommended!
