When we first brought him to Mumbai on the doctor’s advice, he was completely bedridden, unable to eat, and suffering from severe heart failure with a cardiac pumping function of around 25%. At that time, multiple cardiologists and cardiac surgeons had refused to proceed with angioplasty or bypass surgery due to the extremely high risk involved. Even a Mumbai cardiac surgeon had declined to operate for bypass surgery.
Under Dr. Vijay Bang’s guidance, treatment, and clinical judgment, his condition improved beyond our expectations. Today, he is self-ambulatory, eating well, and his heart pumping function has improved to more than 40%.
