I met my childhood friend after 10 years and The manager kept hounding us to order something or leave because the cafe had bookings. Mind you, i had ordered and ate 3 dishes from the restaurant + 1 coffee and even that was not enough for them to let us stay and talk for half an hour.
This guy was extremely rude, made a face when i asked him to let us stay atleast 1/2 an hour.
for a customer that ate so much of food from your restaurant and got spoken to in such a rude manner that me and my friend had to pack up and leave, i would never visit again.
Now the food :
Ordered the paneer burger, homemade paneer burger has more taste. The fries that came on the side were 9 pieces in total. This wasn’t hitting so i ordered the pink pasta, bland as anything, even with oregano the pasta could not lift up in flavour. Extremely disappointing food.
My question : For a manager to come and hound us to leave cause his cafe had bookings, one would expect the cafe to be exceptional that so many people are wanting to be here but this was not the case. Staff sucks, manager sucks, meeting my friend after 10 years i wanted to spend the time talking to her and catch up but this restaurant completely and utterly failed us in every element. Cafe’s are supposed to be a comfort corner of the world where people come to share stories, exchange a good time and just be. in the middle of it if you are being hounded and pestered to order again and again and again just to stay in the cafe, sorry but your venture sucks and doesnt deserve to be called a comfort cafe.
I have been a regular customer at August cafe since many years. They have recently redesigned the whole place and has made it more cozy and inviting! The food is amazing as always and special mention to Chocolate mud cake!! Literally everything on the menu is delicious and carefully crafted!
I had a great experience with the Veggie Farmhouse with Chicken Thin Crust Pizza, Soya Chilli Chicken, and Harissa Grilled Chicken Steak with Garlic Mayo.
The thin crust pizza was just how I like it—crispy base, flavorful mozzarella, and perfectly balanced veggies and chicken.
The Soya Chilli Chicken used well-cooked chicken breast pieces with capsicum, onion, and spring onion, all tossed in a perfectly balanced soy sauce with the right hint of white pepper.
The Harissa Grilled Chicken Steak was nicely grilled with a tandoori touch, served with grilled veggies like broccoli, zucchini, carrots, and mashed potatoes.
Overall, the food quality was excellent and truly value for money.
The cafe bears a fresh look now - all red, white and brown.
Breakfast bowls are wholesome. Masala Chickpea Omelette comes with baked beans, hash browns, brown bread slice and a salad portion. Perfectly done.
The Caramel Latte was easy on the palate, the hint, smooth.
The outdoors in the morning further slows one down - Glass windows imparts a spacious aura to the place.
The team is attentive but not intrusive. Service is fast.
I would love to try most from their menu - their expansive listing was tempting!
Recommended.

Stopped by August Café for breakfast and it was a lovely way to start the day — fresh food, relaxed vibe, and great coffee. Special shout-out to Bonny for warm, attentive service that made the visit even better. Will definitely return! ⭐
Edit
Came back to August Café and it was just as delightful as the first visit. Loved the mix mushroom omelette finished with truffle oil — simple, earthy and perfectly done — paired beautifully with a smooth flat white. The café was peaceful in the early morning, with lovely, unobtrusive music setting a calm mood that made the meal even more enjoyable. A great place to start the day, and once again, the service was warm and impeccable. ⭐
