My father underwent treatment for varicose veins and a leg ulcer under Dr. Virendra Yadav. Throughout the process, he was patient, professional, and reassuring. He explained everything clearly and made us feel confident about the treatment. We truly appreciate his care and dedication. Thank you, Doctor.
My mother has done knee replacement of both the legs, she experienced incredible Care by Dr. Vividh makwana and team, all staff dept, nurses sisters were treating like family member, all have shown kindness towards my mother, now she is able to walk on her leg happily . I truly recommend those who have to do knee replacement, you can totally trust on them, Thank you
If I could give a minus, I totally would. Our entire experience was nothing short of a nightmare.
We had a 10:30 PM appointment with Dr. Virendra Yadav and made sure to arrive on time. However, the doctor only showed up at 12:15 AM. Waiting nearly two hours late at night without any proper communication or explanation is simply unacceptable.
Around 11:30 PM, while we were still waiting and the doctor hadn’t arrived, the reception staff insisted that we pay the consultation advance immediately. We calmly said we would pay once the doctor came, because at that point there was no clarity on whether he would even show up. We were then told that if we paid later, we would be charged emergency consultation fees. It felt unfair and unnecessarily pressurizing.
Things became even more upsetting when my father started feeling severe acidity due to the long wait. The hospital has an in-house pharmacy, so he requested a simple Digene tablet and was ready to pay for it. The pharmacist refused and told him, “Doctor se prescription leke aao ya phir bahar jaao main road pe waha chemist hoga.” This was between 12:00–12:30 AM. Being asked to step out onto the main road at midnight for basic relief medication was shocking and showed a complete lack of empathy.
The receptionist’s behavior throughout was extremely rude and dismissive. In a hospital, patients are already stressed and vulnerable. The least one expects is basic courtesy and compassion which was clearly missing.
Overall, it was a deeply distressing experience. Hospitals are supposed to provide care and reassurance. Unfortunately, we felt neither cared for nor respected.
Update after the Hospital’s response:
Thank you for your response, but unfortunately it does not address the core issues we faced that night.
While delays due to emergencies can happen in healthcare, what was unacceptable was the complete lack of communication. Patients were simply left waiting for nearly two hours late at night without any update about the doctor’s arrival. Basic transparency would have avoided much of the frustration.
Regarding the advance payment, the concern was not about the billing protocol itself, but the manner in which it was handled. Asking patients to pay in advance when the doctor had not even arrived yet, and then telling us that paying later would lead to “emergency charges” was extremely unreasonable. If the doctor had arrived at the scheduled time, our consultation would have been completed well before midnight. It is unfair to suggest emergency charges when the delay was entirely on the hospital’s side and not the patient’s.
Your explanation about prescription requirements at the pharmacy is also not convincing in this situation. Digene is an over-the-counter antacid, not a restricted medication. My father was clearly uncomfortable due to acidity after waiting late into the night, yet instead of showing basic empathy or offering assistance, he was told to go out to the main road to find a chemist at 12-12:30 am.That response showed a serious lack of patient care.
Another concerning issue was during the consultation itself. When the doctor finally arrived, the door of the consultation room was not even closed, and conversations between the doctor and patient could easily be heard from outside. Patient-doctor privacy is a basic expectation in any medical setting, and this lack of confidentiality was highly unprofessional.
Most importantly, the attitude of the reception staff was extremely rude and dismissive throughout the entire interaction. This was not simply a communication gap, it was a matter of basic courtesy and empathy, which were clearly missing.
While I acknowledge your apology, the experience that night reflected serious gaps in patient care, communication, and professionalism. I hope this feedback leads to meaningful corrective action, so that other patients and families are not put through a similar experience in the future.
I admitted my mother to Apex Superspeciality Hospital for a joint replacement surgery, and our overall experience was very good. From admission to discharge, everything was handled smoothly and professionally.
The doctors explained the procedure clearly and gave us confidence throughout the treatment. The nursing staff and support staff were extremely helpful, caring, and polite.
My mother never faced any issues during her stay, and she felt very comfortable because the staff was always supportive and attentive to her needs.
The hospital environment was clean and well maintained, and all services were provided on time. We are satisfied with the treatment and care provided and would definitely recommend Apex Superspeciality Hospital to others looking for quality healthcare.
The hospital's services are average. A significant issue is the front office staff's inability to provide charges for procedures, consistently stating that "the doctor will tell you." Furthermore, despite ample space, patient parking isn't allowed, and there are no external parking options due to the busy main road. Management is unhelpful when issues are raised.
